PULSAR NS 200 SPROCKET IN MY TVS APACHE RTR 200 MORE TOP SPEED CHAIN SPROCKET CALCULATION

- Can we install 14T sprocket from Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 in TVS Apache RTR 200 for more top speed? How to install chain sprocket for better top speed? Modification to improve performance with altering sprocket teeth? Chain sprocket calculation for final drive ratio.
TVS Apache RTR 200 gets 13T sprocket front sprocket and 45T rear sprocket with chain drive. A small change in number of sprocket teeth can be made to improve the acceleration or to reduce the cruising RPM. Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 uses a 14T front sprocket which should result in better cruising speed in the Apache RTR 200. Both the chain sprocket in Pulsar NS 200 and Apache RTR 200 uses same pitch so they can be interchanged but when I tried to replace the front 13T sprocket on the Apache RTR 200 with 14T sprocket of Pulsar NS 200 and I faced some serious issues which is shown in this video. This video also explains the calculation with sprockets and how changing the number of sprocket teeths effect the top speed and acceleration.

Keep up the good work bro. You will definitely get more subscribers.
True.
True...
Absolutely right. Very useful videos👌👌👌❤️
Yes.... 😅. you are RIGHT. 👍🏻
So Finally someone came out with gearing ratio.🤟🤟
As it's said the Journey is most important than the destination.
Your failed efforts are learning for your followers and is an important fact for all the you tubers like you.
I always appreciate the fact that you never hide your failures but are always happy to share it with you followers.
Cheers and Best luck for your next project.
He is one step away from success..need to change chain with cbr chain..and work will be done
Hi, i changed my RTR160 4v front sprocket from 13 teeth to 14 teeth. The 14 teeth sprocket was a spare part of RTR180. In my case i had lot of gap and clearance to fit that, because RTR160 4v don't have that metal curvy plate and have smaller 13 teeth sprocket. I compared RPM and Speed of stock and 14teeth sprocket. As you said, 13teeth sprocket gave a punchier pull and more acceleration. But In 14teeth the rider become linear a bit and acceleration reduced and speed increased a bit.
At 5th gear, 65 kmph speed will be reached with 5000RPM in 14 teeth sprocket.
For the 13 teeth 65 KMPH at 5200 RPM.
But time taken to reach speed of 60 is reduced. As TVS said, RTR160 4v reaches 60 in 4.7 Secs. I did 4.1 secs with stock 13 teeth.
But in 14teeth it is 4.8 secs.
Any changes in mileage can be notified because mileage improve for better lesser rpm
I did same but I'm getting good result I was able to do 70 at 5000rpm and 90kmph at 6500rpm
@@RTR_freaker i got 46 while riding at 60kmph @ 4500rpm
I did 0-60 in 3.6 sec on my 160 4v bs6 and now with 13t i was able to do it in 3.8 sec
Tvs apache 200 with the gear I applied 15-56 0-100 km 10sec with 15-57 gear 8sec 😎
See the thing is that, most youtuber doesn't upload their failures risking to lose their subscribers. But you on the other hand, make yourself more transparent to your subscribers and that's truly appreciatable... 👍
Keep uploading such content and good luck bro
You shared your experience after attempt failed.. hats off bro.. excellent work.
Your Channel is Underrated
After checking ur playlist I couldn't stop myself from watching ur videos n I won a rtr 200 too
I've been following your channel for some years now..since then i've made up my mind to get a RTR200, I've even asked you about maintaining a Matte Black paint..which of course you have answered..Unfortunately I could'nt able to own a 200...But i still love all your videos for the reason that the love and care you have been showing to your bike since the beginning till now..of which I exactly wanted to show to my bike once I get to own one...Thanks for being nice to your bike..thanks for your effort in showing/inspiring us with that!
Change the rear sprocket
U can use Duke 200(2014) rear sprocket it will fit.
If u use a rear sprocket with 3 teeth less is also equal to the 1 teeth less of front.
Does it increase the top speed??
Really? Is it fit with apache 200? Rear sprocket?
Duke 200 2012 4hole sprocket is not fit

Well explanation with DEMONSTRATION ... !!!!
Thank you Bro ...🎉
I m also using this since 2 years in Apache rtr160 ..
It is very easy and comfortable to replace front chain sprocket of 13 teeth to 14 teeth of rtr180..
Performance is good and increase milage also..
This is the greatest channel on mods, fluids,DIY projects for bike . I personally loves this Chanel. Keep up bro
Wow I didn't know there was so much science involved just with the number of teeth on the sprockets 😱
Love the way u explain each aspect of the information in every video
I changed the back sprocket to 42 T and lessed 1.5 chain link. Now its pocket rocket with economy increased least 5 k for daily crusing... Initial pull and lag is less but constant top speed of 120 plus which doesnt bother me. Increase to 47 or to 50 if you are stunting.
Which sprocket did u use (company)any drawbacks?
Which sprocket bro pls reply
Thank you... You are a very good youtuber.. you always shows the truth if it was a failure also... Waiting for the sprocketing concept video..
Btw i have stock sprocket setup of 14/41 teeths and i changed it to 16/41. Now highway crusing is awesome and I'm getting 80kmpl on my fzs v2.0. Planning to change even further 17/41 setup, as I have front clearance left.
80 kmpl??? Gadi band karke toeing karta Hai kya bhai? Ya fir dhakka marke leke jata Hai?
which front sprocket did you use?
Wow very informative all the very best for your future videos 😊
i was also planning to do this from long time but i had same doubt abt clearance thanks for this video
i sucessfully swapped fzs-fi (double disc) chain sprocket set with fz25 (front sprocket from r15 v2 ; as it is 15T , fzs-fi has 14T) with great results. failed DIY attempts is disappointing (first with braided brake lines and now with sprocketing) but thats how you learn. keep up the good work. 👍
i also suggest you change the damper rubbers with chain sprocket set for longer life.
One of the best RUclips channel that I have seen...best wishes bro
I can feel the pain of this not turning fruitful but keep your spirits high bro. Love your work.
Bro your video and narration was topclass! And i instantly subscribed your channel!
Looking forward to more such videos!
It may be obvious at this point but never touch the front sprocket unless you're reducing the number of teeth. Nice video 👍
The best under rated channel. Love to watch your videos.😊
Super bro good idea 💡....
👌.... I like this video....😊
Next time i making a video My TVS XL 100 moped with 17 Inch tubeless tyres fitting video... coming soon..... and (pulsar 220 = front 14T and Rear 36T ) Chain ⛓️⚙️ spokets fitting video... For top speed increasing.... videos...😊
Verry insightful video. Thanks a lot for taking out time to try something new and explain an important concept. Cheers!
SIR HOW ARE YOU... I AM A BI FAN OF YOU SPECIALLY YOUR VOICE QUALITY AND VERY CLEAR AND SHARP WORDS FLOW................
Thats an interesting and intellectual stuff you did no one thinks in dat depth
Thanks to you kind of RUclipsbers we get dlspme really good information and we don't comit some mistakes thanks a lot bro
Wowww, loved your representation brother, would love to see more contents. Real stuffs unlike what other channels are filled with fake news, rubbish mods etc.
Subscribing right away ❤️🙏👍
I was hyped about the top speed 😅😅 cheer up we can find another good set to fit in 😁
use full chane setup of apache 160 4v in 200 surely gonna help with top speed
Bro,what is the sproket theeth size for both front and back of Apache 1604v??
Great Work Brother. Always Doing Things the Best way possible 😃 Keep it up 👍🏻👌🏻
Loved Your Job
Which basically means to me ( ns200) i can go one teeth down n increase acceleration 🤭🤭. You videos the details which no one else provides. Keep up the good work brother.
superb content..though it didnt acheive the title's goal, it did bring awarness about what needs to be noted before changing sprocket and the drive ratio stuff which i didn tknow about...
Pulsar 150 td/180/220 has got a beautiful drive ratio. There is 14 front / 42 rear teeth set up with 520 pitch providing 3:1 drive ratio. You can use that in case you are willing to have a good acceleration and top speed balance..But you have to keep in mind that, the gear ratios aren't same.
Will it direct fit? Because 14t is not possible to fit in rtr200
Brother from northeast i like your video
Glad to know that you liked the video 😊
Try with rear sprocket bro♥️
It will increase acceleration which decreases top speed
If he adds a 44T or 43T rear sprocket he will gain HP while compromising acceleration which he needs.
@@turbocharge1248 It will decrease acceleration and increases the top speed
@@jamaanstarmuthazhagijmk1894 Srry bro ,It will Increase the acceleration and decrease the Top speed, I have faced it
@@apologizetoyou6941 if we change the rear chain sprocket teeth from 45T to 43T or less than that then it will reduce the initial acceleration and increases top speed if I'm wrong please kindly clarify this 🙏
You can still use the sprocket by filing the gear_liver_cam by one mm by doing so it won't do any major damage and difference in the reliability of the gear_liver
Keep up the spirit high man,👍👍
Keep up brother....love from Punjab
Happy to see some one is experimenting.........more power to you✌️✌️
keep it up bro ham log try nahin karenge to kuchh naya nahin sik payenge well try
I am using same method on my hornet 2.0 , 14 to 15 teeth upgrade ❤ , excellent top speed ❤
Hi bro what about mileage how much it increased?
In 15 teeth sprocket 58 kmpl in Highway , and I am using 15 teeth sprocket derived from unicorn.@@THOMAS_00
Need a dedicated video on basics of sprocketing 😊
Your english is soo good bro
Great attempt
Good demonstration
And great self confidence in learning
🤔🤔🤔👏👏👏it's a super try bro u really deserve a good applause
Thank you for experimenting and doing it instead us, and showing us the possibility for more improvement over our existing Apache 🙏
Really Appreciate what you're doing
Thank you so much for appreciating the efforts and motivating me to make more such content on the channel 😊
Great information bro👍👍
Please give guidance and video to increase front sprocket teeth or to reduce back sprocket teeth like this in thunderbird 350
You just need to swap with tb500, its that simple.
Your efforts are really good I love it 👍👍👌👌
Will love to learn more n more from you
Again like other videos of yours this is a Class in knowledge sharing ||"Period"||👌. Keep the momentum going... Neat work 💐
Great video, your experience was documented well.
Achieving the clearance you needed would have required some machine work and would have been extensive to do.😢
Thanks a lot for appreciating the efforts 😊
Nice video 👌👏
Hey you should try
12T and 40T from the xpulse
Chain pitch is the same
Have you also tried it bro ? Does it give more top end !! Is it a direct fit ?
@@eddiem3075 No it's not tried and tested
Do it at your own risk
Xpulse comes with 13T stock. 12T you can get in the rally kit of xpulse
Always happy to see your videos.
Not to worry, you can get the rear sprocket changed, keep in mind that 2teeth on the rear is equivalent to 1teeth whether you go up or down..
A detailed video about the chain and sprockets and their ratios with respect to rpm. Nice brother, I really enjoyed..✌️
Nice video brother. Please make this with pulsar also
i Appreciate your effort👍
Bro can change ur bikes old headlight unit for the new led unit on rtr bs6
Tvs apache 150 I wear it as a chain and front gear, I manufacture the rear gear myself, I recommend you to try it 15-56 vs 15-57
Thank you for your attitude.
Superb. Video make on this topic
i have succesfully installed rtr 180 14t front sprocket . give it a try !
diff. engine altogether
*Little grinding of gear shaft does the work. Its safe unless you hit hard to shift gears and all that depends on gravity of willingness*
I wanted change chain sprocket for my RTR 180 I'm about to raided 15k, what's the price of chain and service? where i go showroom or local shop which is best for low cost???
Always you are best ❤✊
Appreciated your efforts. Keep it up bro.
Nice attempt bro.
👍👍👍👍👍👍🙌
You inspire us all! Way to go bro. :) ❤️
Yes need that video... 👍
Iam a rs 200 user.. it's lag Lowend performance how do i solve that issue by changing the sprocket ?
Please include it in the next video
You should either reduce a tooth in the front sprocket or increase by 3 teeth in the rear sprocket. Don't change both the sprockets at once because the change will be drastic. Keep in mind that you will lose some top speed though.
@@tejaspadhye changing 1tooth at front is same as changing 2or3 teeths at the rear.so, just adding or droping 1tooth at rear doesnt make you feel diffrence but if add or drop 1tooth at front will give you drastic change. Hence for the rear sprocket if want to feel the difference you should atleast add/minus 2to3 teeths.
@@loganlimbu2620 ahh yes I wrote that mistakingly
Hii i did the same this for my karizma from 13T to 14 T at front and 40T to 36 T at the rear. It's working fine since last 6months...
Thanks for your efforts...God bless you...
Please Please make video for Honda CB Shine 4 Speed model. It has got awfully short gearing and anything above 50 strains the engine. Please suggest a replacement socket if not video.
Why not change the rear one? To a smaller sprocket from the RTR 180?
I did for my classic 350 and it was successful i went down with 1 teeth and it was successful i need to have city driving ease..
Bro what about rear sprocket? Could you make a video on it as well please. Thanks.
Reduce 2 teeth from rear sprocket to get more Top Speed.. 👍
In terms of front sprocket, I don't understand why tvs gives 13T.
For my Victor glx 125, i took out the 13T sprocket and replaced it with 14T sprocket of Hero Passion XPro without any problem.
I tried with 15T front sprocket of pulsar 150 but it's pitch was bigger hence I decided to go for 14T sprocket of xpro.
Earlier with 13T sprocket, my glx was vibrating around speed above 50 kmph but now after changing the sprocket to 14T, I feel vibrations above speed of 70 hence comfortable ride on highways.
Earlier I had ratio of 13/43T and now I have 14/43 T sprocket ratio which is good(later I will try with Hero Achiever 15T front sprocket).
Good info..👍👍
It was a great attempt..
But sir plz do a video on steel brake line for front disc brakes replaces that rubber pipe....plzzzz.
He has already made the video.
@@sagarpatankar6056 that was unsuccessful as the length of that cable was short..
Hello sir,
Will you please recommend me for which tyres should I go with for daily commute of 40kms with my Apache 200.

Use the MRF Revz 130/70 R17 or 140/70 R17 for the rear and 90/90 R17 mrf massetter sir.
Apollo is also a good option

Nice try. Keep us posted with an update.
I to am struggling a little on highways while touring.
A query- I hear of your changing sprocket they say you'll have to change the whole setup, is it so?
interesting topic love very much
Hey nice try... Keep exploring... Love your efforts
Good attempt ... keep going
I was almost planning to do so with my rtr 160 but with the rear sprocket as because the clearance at the back is more in comparison to front one.. well it would be fun to see the outcome results.. btw thanks for the information..
Secondly everyone talks about the engine rpm, carb setting etc etc which doesn't help much.. stunting guys remove headlamps and reduce weight from the front end to make the stunting job easier but non of them have ever talked about gear ration and nor thought of doing so..
I think with some minor changes and modifications we can successfully set the 14T sprocket in the rtr's.. because many times while crusing at highways i feelt a need of sixth gear in my both apache 200 and rtr 160.. btw nice video...
Bro please use apache 180 front 14teeth sprocket, this was fixed perfectly..
Thats a smaller pitch .428 sprocket but this is .520 pitch but as for rtr180's front sprocket i m preety sure it does fit in here but then you also need to change rear sprocket to smaller pitch of .428.
Nice information...
What about changing the rear sprocket. Do u have any recommendations?
Can we use RTR 200 slipper clutch in NS 200,plz make a video in this topic
I used wurth engine oil additive in pulsar 150 trust me my bikes sound has become like new and engine is very smooth now
Great effort bro!!!
You can grind the gear rod a couple of mm more with a grinding power tool so that it fit perfectly without any issue 👍🏻
