- In this demo we will see what are security groups, how it protects our AWS EC2 instances, how they work etc.
A security group acts as a virtual firewall for your EC2 instances to control incoming and outgoing traffic. Inbound rules control the incoming traffic to your instance, and outbound rules control the outgoing traffic from your instance. When you launch an instance, you can specify one or more security groups. If you don't specify a security group, Amazon EC2 uses the default security group. You can add rules to each security group that allow traffic to or from its associated instances. You can modify the rules for a security group at any time. New and modified rules are automatically applied to all instances that are associated with the security group. When Amazon EC2 decides whether to allow traffic to reach an instance, it evaluates all of the rules from all of the security groups that are associated with the instance.

please please HELP me..
sir me amazon ka EC2 RDP instance normally use kar raha tha , but yesterday maine RDP me login kar ke usake network adapter setting ke properties me jakar waha se TCP/ipv4 se manually ip address enter karke apply kiya. usake baad me waha se automatically exit huwa. usake baad connect hi nahi ho raha. aur bahut baar login karne ki koshish ki par nahi ho raha. new remote destop file fir se download kiya, instance reboot kiya, sabkuch kiya par nahi ho raha ......please please help me.

Aws default SG by default denies all inbound traffic right? Has there been any change lately? Inbound traffic is only allowed through instances that are associated to the same SG. Can you please confirm?
Can you please tell me if it is possible to copy security group configuration from one aws account to another??
