Thanks to my friends over at Phoenix Customs, LLC for sending me this immaculate custom printed LEGO minifigure of the Warrior Prince, aka BLACK PANTHER! These are insanely detailed, and I am excited to share it with all of you guys!

Black Panther is a character that is long overdue for a cowl piece. LEGO held out for so long on giving us a cowl piece for Captain America, even after developing it without printing for Flash in 2013. Part of me feels like they make the original figures lackluster so that they can improve them later on. Who knows.
The original Black Panther headpiece was probably the way it was for two reasons:
1. It’s more versatile, so Lego can use it across more figures and themes.
2. It’s cheaper to make than a full blown cowl that would probably be inaccurate very quickly, similar to Ant-Man’s helmet.

Not so sure about this one. The printing depth is a little too muted on the torso, especially when compared to the crisp lines of the 2016 official LEGO figure. The level of over-printing on the sides and back of the legs also remind me of printing techniques seen in bootleg minifigures. I do really appreciate the fact that T'Challa gets a dedicated helmet mold that goes over a minifigure head, however. Would be great to see LEGO create a specialized headgear that could be used for their Black Panther figures.
This is a prime example of sometimes that custom is better lol
i still prefer legos only because i think the helmet goes a little overboard(also please could you make a the walking dead custom minifigure review
It’s good but the official is a bit better it feels more authentic. The Headpiece is better tho.
That custom head behind the mask reminds me of the among us characters
I think the custom one's helmet wasn't done as well as the Lego one.

the lego one. there's something about certain custom with to much detail that's off putting to me
The custom one had better detail and printing but the real lego one has a better head. I just like the "lego look"
Looks goofy imo. Printing seems very dull and that helmet is *very* way to detailed and looses the lego feel. Arm printing cool tho
