There is a limit in words, even more if the words aren´t from my vernacular language. But I don´t think that there is any thongue in which I can tell you the way your interpretations, maked me feel today. This one, the one of Piazzolla, invierno porteño I think it was... but m´am, the Halleluja at two guitars maked me cry like a litle girl. Did u play any of Django or Silvio rodriguez, delta blues, Paganini? (and by that I mean please do it, if that dosen´t take you to much time from your julliard thesis or what ever, would be lovely) any way thanksto you for being, I really needed a bit of the true sacred manifestation of art in this convoluted time of my life and etc. keep it up
What a beautiful peformance! And what a perfect technique! As a Brazilian I am thrilled to hear our music being valued and played so brilliantly by people from another country! Bravo!!!!!!
Such a beautiful arrangement for that old classic. And wow! that flawless technique is something to hear and see. I am so awed by these incredible young performers, and grateful. I have played guitar for 50 years and can barely fathom what it takes to do this. Thankyou Stephanie!
I am 57 years old and at this stage in my life, it is when I discover that I would have liked to become classical perfomer. I bought a Yamaha guitar, and I know to read music. I will work hard to learn to play some classical pieces. ( I don´t know if I will achieve it, one has to start when is younger, however, I do not want to pass away without experiencing the pleasure of playing the classical guitar. In my next life I am sure what I will want to be.May God bless your talent. Miss Jones.
It takes many years to get to this level. My life went a different direction but I miss my old friend. It’s great to see so many young guitarists taking on the mantle and keeping the fires lit for future generations.
It is never late. U will live to be 100 and u have enough time to practice n catch up Sure the young can focus better but the elder can do without financial worries
Increible el sonido, las notas disonantes...todo..!!!, vos y la guitarra son uno, estan unidos...y ambas son una maravillosa obra de arte...!!... Gracias...!!!
The sheer individuality of her approach is remarkable, whether she plays Bach or Jobim or Handel/Giuliani - & with a kind of in-your-face imperturbable technical bravado. To step outside music for a moment: Frank Lloyd Wright once warned against trying to imitate his style & total originality in architecture, "...style comes with the man (or woman)..." Meaning if you have any talent, it will force its way into your work, regardless of other influences; & if not, well... Stephanie clearly embodies that here. I think she is more powerful in her expression than even she herself may realize. A gift to us & to the art.
Couldn't agree more! Also, to me at 60 she's the James Dean of the Classical guitar world, which will bring more young people into this beautiful world! She's totally herself, unique and exciting!!! Absolutely love her!
What a cool comparison! Different generational punk(-ette?)/rebel/att-i-tude "style," w/ no affectation? Definite Yes - just wonderful talent, whomever she inspires in our antique memories [ :) ]. Thx, Steve.
Wow, those dissonant chords literally set my teeth on edge, but what a thrill when you went back to the major and minor chords of the melody! The contrast truly did sweeten the experience, so it seems Felicidade (happiness) is an appropos metaphor for life. Thanks to you and the composer for all the hard work it took to bring this composition to us!. Obrigada!
It is shocking but enjoyable, how Stephanie express her tango feeling as well as the Brazilian cadenza throughout the guitar. I am so happy to see a beautiful young lady playing music from other times. Congratulations!
So many great artists out there doing amazing classical guitar. And yet, you shine among them all! Your technique is so clean and full of passion. Wonderful, Stephanie!
The most enjoyable thing for me about this whole video is witnessing how much you absolutely love playing that guitar. Add to that the intensity of your passion while playing and this video is nothing short of perfection.
Thankyou for listening! xx
thx for uploading, U brilliant rythmical talent ;)
You are welcome sweetie!

Grande maestro Tom Jobin! Um orgulho para o meu Brasil!
I'm 5 years late--but you OWNED this. Very powerful performance without losing the delicate parts.
Slower tempo made the rhythm more vivid and alive, i LOVE this interpretation. I imagine Roland's smile in heaven.
Bravo! Une des plus belles interprétations de cette magnifique pièce !

Call the cable company and cancel the Service of Unnecessary Noise and invest your hours in practice.
Hahahah. That is true. I will practice as much as I can.

Keep practicing, you still have many decades ahead.
Such dissonant notes might sour any other piece but in this one, they added so much to the overall atmosphere and feeling. Well played indeed!!
Dissonant notes are very common in Brasilian music. Specially in Bossa Nova.
Roland Dyens was a master at taming that wild beast known as dissonance.
Adds to the percussiveness I feel.
Mas mas mas mais de Jobim !!!! Bella
Stephanie plays as many genres as she has hairstyles .
Gorgeous Girl playing gorgeously.
Aussie Treasure.
