    ❓Did you already know all of these ways to cut out images in Photoshop? Were any new to you? What is your favorite way to make selections? ❓

    This is seriously THE BEST tutorial I've seen on masking images. For years I've just erased pixels because I could never really understand the other methods people have shown on their tutorials. This was so easy to follow. Huge thank you.

    👍🏻 Extensive, compact, instructive!
    I've been working with Photoshop for years and still got to know a lot of cutting-out possibilities. Also didactically a valuable tutorial.

    What about Select Subject and also more advanced stuff like Apply Image, Calculations, Channel Blending + Different Image Modes for more channels etc? This is the "Ultimate" guide after all.
    Still, a nice refresher on some parts.

    fantastic tutorial. As a photographer and editor, I have just been armed with powerful arsenals for work. I think I only use to scratch the surfaces of those tools. now I can take it higher. Thanks for sharing this.

    One that you didn't mention is using the magnetic lasso tool & mask it, which is a lot less tedious compared to the pen tool.

    • @joeykorenman
      @joeykorenman 2 года назад

      Oooh, great call! I normally don't use that one because the pen tool is to much more controllable, but it's still a good option.

    My object selection tool has always been in my magic wand/lasso menu? Maybe its a Mac thing that it gets tucked under the eye dropper at 10:27? That's weird, it even has the "W" shortcut so you know it belongs in the Magic wand and lasso deck.
