Body dysmorphia is a horrible thing to deal with. And he looks so great! It just goes to show how body dysmorphia warps your perception to such a degree that it doesn’t align with reality anymore.
My body image got better after I lost a bunch of weight. Still a little dystrophin but VERY glad I lost the 40 pounds and put on muscle (thanks carnivore diet)
@@Snuusnuu69 The problem is that you're thinking that being short is a negative in the first place. Think about this logically, and ask yourself why is being short considered "negative" in the first place.

I think the stoic way of thinking is right. The body will grow old, ugly and weak gradually and will die. There is no point in trying to decorate it by putting on muscle or trying to look good. How long do you think you will be able to save it from the universe which will throw situations in which your body will be cut and bruised. Accept the fact that the body will die. No point fighting a lost battle. Focus on your job. Exercise is nothing more than physiological hygiene.
It should move. The key is to never get satisfied. Not to the point of dysmorphia, but always chase excellence. Celebrate a milestone, but move on to the next one. Or get complacent and regress. You're moving forward or backward. When you stop moving, you're dead.
Nobody is talking about stop moving, but to learn how to enjoy your achievments, the goal you okce dreams about and allowing yourself to feel good about. Its the same as the people who pursuits money, the never ger satisfied, it does not make sense living that way … always seeking never ending story
Appreciate you fully ❤

I have it so bad I can barely look in the mirror
I’m the same 😢
I'm curious as to what, if any, is the underlying theme to body dysmorphia
It could be many different things, unfortunately. Mental or physical abuse, assault, low self esteem. etc.

Okay, and? You want me to feel sorry for you? It's not always better to be tall.
Focus on the positives about yourself, not being negative. That will drive you into a deep depression that is damn near impossible to get out of!

I hate the way my body looks my face, is gorgeous. My body, not so much. I have a body of a jacked kangaroo. And I don't like it.
You could have the body of a slovenly kangaroo, so you're doing the best with what you got and that's great.
@@mpclepto182 I guess I can make it into being a very pretty kangaroo 🦘 😂
