"Know that the taste of poison is reminding me of a lie" is the more literal translation of "Знай, что ложь по вкусу яд напоминает". It didn't seem right in the context, so I adjusted it slightly without really changing the meaning. I made an assumption with "Верю взгляду всегда" that it's his look/ gaze.
