I bought a custom e-bike but I started to do diy kits never really bought a Kirby kit most of the kits I get are off amazon, I prefer the 3 wire kit with the fuse instead of the quick connect setups because they have a tendency of melting and arcing

Those Halfords ebikes are the biggest scam ever. I had one as my first ebike got it used on marketplace for 300 quid at the start of COVID. Pretty much immediately I could feel the huge lack of power you have to put in loads of effort just to keep it at the legal 15.5mph. I got rid of it after 3 months and built my current 1500w 52v and have never looked back.
I got the Evercross EK 30 as my fourth bike £661 in sale from Evercross, if id bought this first l would have saved, £1800 on the SX-Eskuta 250. ( but saying that l like it and kept it ) £817 + £56 for panniers on the Fiido C11 bike ( great bike 500w brushless motor, Hydraulic brakes, thumb throttle, but totally illegal although it looks so much like a large mountain bike l never got bothered on it got 29mph out of it and it climbed every hill in front of it but its illegallity meant l couldnt relax on it so l sold it 2 months old ridden 5 times for £600, you live n learn...) l first bought an e bike Move folder from Argos, great on the flat could really move, but l didnt trust the quick release clips one broke immediatly had to replace it, and any hill higher than a pimple it wouldnt climb, even the most shallowest you had to peddle yourself into a near connery, had been ridiculously priced at £700 but l paid £245 in argos sale, some poor sod paid full orice then it wrnt down the day after and he was furious. I gave it away it was an embarrassment. But this Evercross is a bit similar to the bike in this video only far cheaper, but its incredibly powerful it eats hills for breakfast, l saw several vids and each video reviewer hailed it as the best budget bike ever and all mentioned its power l thought they had slightly over praised it until l got it wow ! Easy to unlock in the screen, 27mph and im 14stone 4lbs of sheer muscle.. Honestly... Lol well I'm 14st 4lbs anyway and l took it to a hill trail and came to a dauntingly steep hill which l thought no chance is it pulling my fat ar....my muscular arse up there I'll wait until these 6 beatiful blondes walking their dogs have gone then I'll sneak back the way l came, but they hung around for what seemed like ages then one said aren't you going up that hill then we want to see you do it,,. See me fail more like l thought, but being a glass half full bloke l said yeah but if l fall down l hope you have a phone to call 999, she laughed you'll be ok it looks very nice motorbike, l didnt bother correcting her l climbed on the bike backed up a few yards then wrnt at it reflecting on how l had heard hospital meals were quite good nowadays if l still have my teeth afterwards, amazement flooded me as the bike tore up the bank getting faster n faster then l was at the top incredibly, the ladies down below were cheering n clapping and shouting easy easy, l had been up a less steeper bank and it had gone up good at 15mph all the way but up this steeper bank it had reached 19mph as l topped it, l wished l could have done a standing wheelie like a horse rearing to show off to the ladies but l just said bye and rode off into the sunset lol, l still dont know how it did it so easy l had expected it to drop back just over halfway up but it had increased its speed, made my day. Im going back when the weather evens out and try it again to make sure l didnt dream it lol, superb bike and so inexpensive, im 67 retired and live alone so l have nothing to do but indulge myself for however long ive got left so while l can im going to buy a few more and hope we have a decent summer because theres a lot of trails round here in the north east coast of England and im goung to explore em might even camp out a bit but only with a good mattress lol
Hi I have just bought one of these however the key in the battery is that just to lock the battery in place because in this video he is riding with the key in can you shed some light on this thanks
Hi, the key is to lock the battery in place. Take it out & put it on your keys so you don't loose them. Never ride with key in battery, if you loose the key you can't get a replacement so the battery is always on the bike. Hope this helps & ride safe my friend. E Ryder..
Hi again regarding the battery where the green lights are I have three green lights and one red should they all be green or is it normal to have three green and one red thanks Dave
@davidwilcock1698 Hi again, 3 Green & 1 red means the battery is not on full charge. Charge it up until your charger is green & then it's charged. When you see red it's going down in power. You can still use it just emember to charge it up when 3 red is on battery. You could damage the battery if you let it go flat ie 4 red lights. Hope this helps E Ryder

There’s a couple of tutorial videos here on RUclips showing you the speed settings and how to change and unlock the bike to go faster. Just search Hidoes B6 you’ll find it among those.
The problem with the B6 is that it won't allow universally available replacement parts like a Throttle. Nearly all replacement parts are of a JULET connector type which is identical and should work, but no they don't, because the cables supplied are of a YH brand, meaning that you have to purchase a cheaply made Half Throttle from Hidoes direct at and astonishing cost of £36. Therefore today i am going to purchase a JULET Brand of Extender Cable and fit it, solving this problem ( hopefully? )🇬🇧

The height of this is actually much higher than many others, most of them you sit so low they look like old style bmx bikes and I don't know how anyone can pedal them. If you look his legs are almost stretched out when riding, check out others in the category, they sit all hunched down. check out the Hanevear dual 750W, you can raise the seat higher than you would ever want but the bike is not very stylish and only offered in blueish/grey color and a cool tan color, but it has a ton of power for hills.

This bike can go 30 mph and anyone who is 16 can get a cbt test, insurance, mot after 3 years pay the tax, and drive it around just like a moped, although the data says you are 4 times more likely to die whilst riding a bike versus a car, my nephew was out riding to his girlfriends house got basically decapitated when he got hit head on by a drunk driver playing the fool, he went to prison the nephew went in the ground...

Ive been riding this bike now for about 2 weeks and it is loads of fun and ive been getting compliments on the looks of it and good conversation starter. The fastest ive done on it is 31mph. The 1200w motor is good enough for me and I have no plans to update it. Good just as it is.

@@davidinmossy I'm assuming 1250w is the maximum the stock battery can handle. Engwe are a bit weird for not just using the engine pro controller on the m20 it would've done over 30mph out of the box if they did that.
There are several companies who manufacture hub motors/controllers. you can make any of these just about as fast as you want, just depends on how much you want to spend- gets pricey when you have to add a higher voltage/amperage battery.
It is what it is though ...great for some ...but personally that range aint nowhere near enough .....it will do about 20miles on throttle ...and there no space for second bat ...
Since i have found that its to expensive to return the Bike i am converting mine to be an updated modern CHOPPER Style. Which will hopefully make the bike a better bike to ride. 😀🇬🇧

Yeah convert a comfortable bike you already own. Takes 2 hours and a decent kit and battery isn't that much when compared to a new bike.

This bike can go 30 mph and anyone who is 16 can get a cbt test, insurance, mot after 3 years pay the tax, and drive it around just like a moped, although the data says you are 4 times more likely to die whilst riding a bike versus a car, my nephew was out riding to his girlfriends house got basically decapitated when he got hit head on by a drunk driver playing the fool, he went to prison the nephew went in the ground...

Ive been riding this bike now for about 2 weeks and it is loads of fun and ive been getting compliments on the looks of it and good conversation starter.
The fastest ive done on it is 31mph.
The 1200w motor is good enough for me and I have no plans to update it. Good just as it is.

Nice are you able just to buy the hub and wheel separate? Looking to upgrade my m20 engwe to 1200w or more if anyone knows where to get cast wheel hubs ?
Upgrade your controller dude and maybe the battery as well. The stock hub can handle a lot more than 750w you just need a higher amperage controller.

@@davidinmossy I'm assuming 1250w is the maximum the stock battery can handle. Engwe are a bit weird for not just using the engine pro controller on the m20 it would've done over 30mph out of the box if they did that.
There are several companies who manufacture hub motors/controllers. you can make any of these just about as fast as you want, just depends on how much you want to spend- gets pricey when you have to add a higher voltage/amperage battery.

It is what it is though ...great for some ...but personally that range aint nowhere near enough .....it will do about 20miles on throttle ...and there no space for second bat ...

Since i have found that its to expensive to return the Bike i am converting mine to be an updated modern CHOPPER Style. Which will hopefully make the bike a better bike to ride. 😀🇬🇧
