I think I break the pattern, the prettier/cooler song wins (kirapipi kirapika instead of Niccori, cyberpunk deadboy instead of showtime ruler/becoming potatoes)
this game has a lot of banger slow songs but this being a rhythm game doesn't do it any favors... people will gravitate towards the faster songs because they're usually more fun to play

infinitely gray is so underrated imo😭 the song has SO MUCH symbolism, it fits ena's character so well, and her voice is very powerful, it fits the feelings she experienced during the event very well. she sounds frustrated, sad, desperate, and it fits the song perfectly. the very hated youtube outro sounding part has A LOT of symbolism, since those 2017 youtube outros are supposed to catch your attention, while ena is craving attention and recognition. it also somewhat symbolizes her social media addiction and its just. very underrated and beautiful. the lyrics are also very amazing, and the 3dmv is one of the best mvs in the game in my opinion! the way the mv becomes colorful after she does that one thing with her hands is a very nice detail and this song really deserves more love!
Filament fever being Tsukasa's least popular kills me, but it's not so surprising unfortunately. Tondemo Wonderz was the most popular song at some point, idk much about 88☆ but i know that lots of people love it, i don't even have to explain why Mr. Showtime is the most popular.
Honestly it's just yeah, it's the newest one. Tondemo Wonderz was a huge meme, 88 had everyone go mad with the symbolism and piano + theatrical song, and Mr. Showtime highlighted a big event for Tsukasa's struggles and his infamous crying card. Only way I can see Filament Fever beating last place is if the next comm is disliked even more.
Choosing Akito's and Tsukasa's comms is like choosing who you love between your mom and dad (for rui i dont really like showtime ruler so its easy for me)

I don't think he was exactly 'outshined' tho, it's a Rui focus and it won for a reason. People voted it for Rui, maybe there are some who voted for Tsukasa but the majority didn't. He sang very nicely in the song, the event was also very good, people went insane for it for a good while. I do see what you mean tho, the growl was legendary

Filament fever is so good. May sound weird at first, but I like how the speed change. The dance is really fun, especially that spin part. I would say Rui's situation is similar to that of Akito's: All 4 commision songs are great respectively, but one has to be placed last: Becoming potatoes shows catchy music with depressing lyrics, and event shows Rui's first event to accept changes Showtime Ruler is catchy with English lyrics everywhere, and story reveal Rui's past story from alienation What sort of ending do you wish for hits HARD in story, and I guess the song reveals as much Cyberpunk beat dead boy was the newest song, but it was hyped up very much when it was first released, I would say maybe due to the style of the song (Cyber-style is like, well-recieved by most players) So in the end, it is understandable that one has to place, and for me, I would also place potato, even though it is a catchy song

I think I break the pattern, the prettier/cooler song wins (kirapipi kirapika instead of Niccori, cyberpunk deadboy instead of showtime ruler/becoming potatoes)

infinitely gray is so underrated imo😭 the song has SO MUCH symbolism, it fits ena's character so well, and her voice is very powerful, it fits the feelings she experienced during the event very well. she sounds frustrated, sad, desperate, and it fits the song perfectly.
the very hated youtube outro sounding part has A LOT of symbolism, since those 2017 youtube outros are supposed to catch your attention, while ena is craving attention and recognition. it also somewhat symbolizes her social media addiction and its just. very underrated and beautiful.
the lyrics are also very amazing, and the 3dmv is one of the best mvs in the game in my opinion! the way the mv becomes colorful after she does that one thing with her hands is a very nice detail and this song really deserves more love!

Cyberpunk beat dead boy was the newest song, but it was hyped up very much when it was first released, I would say maybe due to the style of the song (Cyber-style is like, well-recieved by most players)

I feel like this survey is mostly participated by newer players because like, I remember the day the timeline going batshit insane when moonlight came out. My friend, an Akito oshi, lost his mind tiering that event. That song was so good it was almost unfair to others. Well technically all Akito commissions are all good ngl.
