Well consider how mucb they're gonna lose financially. Lucas jersey sales, ad revenue etc is huge worldwide and has the potential to not only continue but grow. He's only 25 and not yet in his prime. AD is no doubt elite at what he does but I would argue doesn't bring in as much. Factor in the fact Luca got to finals, which brings in even more revenue, and his potential to return to finals in future VS those factors with AD and it doesn't seem to add up financially.
