      @@graywolftravels1025 Yes, look at this point in the video ruclips.net/video/hf9eQiMLiCA/видео.html That is live footage of what is happening behind my trailer as I drive. There is a slight bit of latency (delay) since it's a wireless signal, but it's not too bad. Love it for rear-monitoring the traffic behind me. Cheers, Ray

      This company seems to be interested in constantly improving the product. They often ask me for advice on things and to test new products as they are based in Asia and sell a lot to the world market; in many countries, the RVs are a little different than in North America. I can help them with the differences. Overall, the stuff has worked well for me, but any issues they seem willing to work on and address. Cheers, Ray

      @@LoveYourRV I’m a solo RV’er and really appreciate having these cameras set up! I have a 35’ toy hauler, and being able to hear and see all around is so helpful when moving lanes! Glad to hear they listen to your feedback!

    Ray, you have small side cameras on your truck quarter panels at one point and they were hard wired. Do you know if there are similar cameras that are wireless? I’m wondering if there is a system where the camera and transmitter are separate pieces.

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  7 месяцев назад

      Those cameras were part of a dash cam system www.loveyourrv.com/thinkware-x800-dash-cam-multi-camera-side-and-rear-installation/ I don't know of any that are wireless for dashcams but could be.
      Haloview, Furrion, and others sell wireless side cameras for some of the multi-cam systems for side monitoring. Generally, they mount where the side marker lights are on a motorhome or trailer.

    Nice update review. Doesn't AZ have a law against sticking devices on the windshield?

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  7 месяцев назад +1

      I don't know about Arizona. People don't even wear motorcycle helmets here and walk around with guns strapped to their hips. :) If I have window mount things, I put them low enough that they are below the hood line so they don't impede the view. If they still want to ticket me so be it. :) But I doubt the police will have a problem with it if it's being used as a rear-view monitor when towing and not in the way.

    I was looking for a system like this. I plan on using Navionix w my tablet for navigating. Will these cameras interface w tablets?

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  4 месяца назад +1

      No, they only work with the Haloview displays. Bluetooth wouldn't have the range and WiFi would be too laggy. I think they use a radio wireless signa; like cordless phones use.

    Hey Ray, if you use the upside down mode on the screen, would that move the antennae out of the way?

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  28 дней назад +1

      Yes, you can do that but it does make using the touchscreen settings a little more difficult as its upside down and the antennas stick down.. I mirror mounted it right side up in this update. Wasn't too bad. ruclips.net/video/uoODwWb3iXo/видео.html Cheers, Ray

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  28 дней назад

      I still have the radar sensors installed, here was the update ruclips.net/video/_idrDMypUVI/видео.html They work well but if they weren't free to me I doubt I'd get them, my big Ram 3500 towing mirrors stick out so far I have no blind spots down the sides except for the rear of the trailer and the camera covers that.

    Do you know if cameras from previous models can be paired to it? I have 2 of the
    MC 7108 model. Would consider this new device if my current cameras will pair

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  7 месяцев назад

      As I understand it, the newer Byte Tango system-compatible cameras use a revamped, improved wireless signal and are 1080P. So this Byte Tango display doesn't work with the previous 720P cameras. The compatible cameras have BTC in the model number.

    The price difference between the 3 camera BT7 Plus vs Touch Plus is about $100. Is it worth the extra $100? My guess is having dedicated buttons can be faster to reach menu choices than having to "touch" through the menu system. Thx!

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  7 месяцев назад +1

      I find the touchscreen faster and display more compact. With the dedicated buttons, you have to keep pushing a button to scroll through the options. See here ruclips.net/video/lJpAeAc_AbE/видео.html The touchscreen version also has the shortcut menu.

    Hi Ray, love your show. Is there a way to connect to an external monitor such as my HD tv? Thanks, Ray

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  7 месяцев назад

      No, this system uses its own proprietary camera wireless signal for less interference, range, and low latency. It can only connect to its own compatible displays. The recorded footage can be taken off the micro SD card though and played on a computer.

      It's the Chinese New Year holiday, Spring Festival, a big holiday time, and workers usually get a week off; they are based in Hong Kong, so they should be back to ship after the holiday. It usually takes a month or two to get stocked on Amazon for new products like this.
