great technic ,but most impotant is his mind and pasion.There are many players with great technic but not so many with such way of thinking and presenting feelings he has. I wish I could be his student . Thanks for giving us the opurtunity to touch a smal peace of his art.

He is the ONE :) Actually I started playing darbuka after watching him on youtube, so he's kind of the source of my inspiration. Hope someday I can play as good as him
Almost year since I began practising darbuka playing and the split hand, and I think I'm already halfway to eagle :) everyday it seems to turn smoother and smoother, so I just keep on training. Self teaching is a quite hard thing to do, pity that in my country we have 0 schools/masters who'd be able to teach mid eastern percussion. DVD and youtube is my only option for now.
@octopimp right hand one tak followed by 3 with your left hand ( first finger, ring finger, first finger)...first you will feel like a duck trying to fly, with the time you will fly like an eagle and be free...good luck
