I was a teenager in the 70s and everything we did was frowned upon unless we were doing homework, chores, or playing some kind of dorky instrument that wasn't plugged into an amp. All we wanted to do was be left alone and wear Levi's 501 button flies, Levi jean jackets, concert tees and bare feet and if necessary hiking boots.Oh and smoke our terrible seedy and stemmy weed.😅 Fashion didn't become a thing until the eighties and then OMG what a nightmare that was. 😢When my daughter was born I was so excited to let her wear whatever she wanted and guess what she wanted to wear. Levi's 501 button fly jeans, concert tees, Levi jean jackets, and skater shoes. Life is a flipping trip. With all that said girlfriend if you think your toys we're bad you should have seen what we got in the 60s. Sad is when you get a Barbie and it has short curly hair and your mom makes all the outfits. Imagine and they look like your mom's clothes.😢😂 I mean the toys are so aewsome now I don't even care if I own them Im just happy to watch a couple cool and funny people open them who don't block my overly long and somewhat odd messages. As always, LOVE your comments! I disagree about 80's fashion. I look back at pictures and am highly entertained about my fashion choices (read mistakes) and interesting hair.... It was something! When I was little, my Barbie had a plastic canvas house! I love 70's crafts. I found a book of Barbie plastic canvas projects....maybe someday I will get to it! Barbie has come a long way when it comes to her fashion choice and hair. She is way cooler now. And toys in general have gotten more interesting. Superheroes, Monsters, Aliens, and Barbie with purple hair are all considered main stream now. That makes me happy! I am not the only weirdo anymore! Also, I am happy I am a grown up now and able to buy my own toys!
I'm devastated we can't get the mothers circus cookies out here. We did get them when I was a kid but maybe twice. If you ever have a giveaway and I win can I have circus cookies?
