4:50 unless they are saying something we can’t hear it seams like dzulfikar points to the gabumon for the “cant unsuspend” part of dragon modes effect. No reason to do that but the koichi should unsuspend on garrys turn
BO1 is a terrible format and it needs to be removed. This is the main issue, not the only one tbf, I would say with the Digimon tcg and Bandai needs to look into how to fix it in future sets or look into maybe rules changes overall. The ammount of value generated by 2 bad security checks already decided the game and thus the whole series by the 2nd turn and then the 3rd swing sealed the deal leaving room for 0 counterplay and no skill expression vs an already terrible matchup. BO3 is a much better format but even in BO3 without an actual side board, sometimes it feels like you are just playing the same game twice especially into one dimentional decks like Imperial, 7GDL and to an extent MagnaX. If the whole world needs to shift towards BO1 and praying they don't brick every game or that opponent doesn't have 5 security effects in that game I don't see this game going on for much longer, especially in medium size scenes like mine where support is already limited.
problem is time, and the game getting moreee and more wall of text of effect... digimon slowly on path like yu gi oh... i dont want that and stupid broken effect they so leisure giving purple, yellow , blue without restrictive effect... its stupid.
@@Salty010 the game has one of the widest metas in any card game atm and big walls of text aren't a bad thing, it's about the writing on them, just look at magic as an example. Time isn't that big of an issue, only a few decks in the meta go to time and they aren't that popular anyway. Digimon unlike yugioh have limited interaction during the opponents turn and have the memory system that will never really allow us to go to full out ygo levels of turn 1 game over type effects. The game has a skill vs luck issue that the bo1 format makes into a much bigger issue seeing that luck swings tend to be much bigger than skill swings most of the time, especially with security being totally rng for almost all decks in the game. This game is a perfect case in point. And if you want to talk about leisure effects with no downside then purple isn't really the color to compare that to seeing that almost all of purple effects are double edge swords.
I'm so glad Imperial isn't as popular because holy shit what a piece of shit deck, so un-interactive, pretty much stops you from doing ANYTHING and even if you somehow clear their board they can rebuild from 0 (with no rookie on the back) so easily, while printing memory.
imperial player used dragon mode effects to just suspend the tamer while the gabu was selected for the can't unsuspend effect.

Oh man I constantly forget BO1 format so I was confused you didnt just scoop for game two. Makes sense when there isnt a game 2
imperial already has a dominant matchup against purple hybrid, and the imperial player didn't even see the togemogumon lmao
east how can I watch your full stream?
You can catch me when I’m live or become an ultimate level RUclips member for access to all my past streams!
Round 2 game just goes to show how horrible best of 1 is. Imperial gets cracked security and sees his perfect hand. Crazy.
The pains of BO1 being a format that exists
4:05 just draw 5 cards and if you die to security and have another one in hand you can do another 2 checks
Naw bro that's gotta go to 1

@@Salty010 resource system bro
Hopefully the unified release makes BO3 the normal format while also giving us side decking
Yeah...then in bo3, ppl will complain tat 1 game they brick in a 1-2
Or ppl just slow play for draw.... do not see a big diff
Imperial best deck bby
