A crazy Ukrainian channel called Kreosan made a microwave gun with three magnetrons, a tin can, and a taser...But does it actually work, or was the video just fake news?

Why don't you have a HUUUUGE array of capacitors in series that's charged fully then pulse all of that power into the magnetron. Will that replicate the EMP needed? EMP is just a pulse after all. No need to make a continuous stream of microwaves.

i have a portable emp, it's not magic, you just need to have some supercapacitors in series and discharge more voltage than the original setup, my setup uses 6kv +- 5A pulses with a lot of low-emi 1mf 16v capacitors from motherboards, i've tested them to 10% tolerance with my capacimeter before the assembly.

I am curious, as you probably tried this already, but did you try switching the tazer contacts around as it outputs most of the energy as a pulse and polarity matters for the magnetron (negative on the filament). Also make sure the filament voltage stays within spec while on and does not drop too much.

Some important details mentioned in that Ukrainian video that you've missed:
There is a certain resonant proportion between the magentrons and the dimentions of the cone+tin can. They purposefully refused to explain that in details to prevent kids from trying this at home.
The taser has been opened, it's power has been increased, supercaps have been added.
    ---
Even if you don't speak Russian you can enable the subtitles. Those translations turned out to be quite accurate. Except for the term "militairy grade capacitors", which should have been translated as "heavy duty" or "skookum" or something along those lines.
"boyewoy"=ready for battle, not necessarily militairy application.

The equations for circular and rectangular wave-guides, as well as various feed-horns, are very well know.
Your electronics text would have to be published before 1910 or so to not have this stuff.
And really, there is nothing on either of these devices that looks anything like the proper dimensions for the wavelength of the 2.45 Ghz magnetrons.
There are no secret ratios between components.

I think he deliberately made the cone out of cardboard too wide and omitted the capacators, maybe misaligned the magnatrons so the experiment would fail. He seems very biased against this and i think his goal was complete debunk whether it did or didnt work.

Honestly speaking, those Russians would be dead if their device worked as they claimed, I have a EE buddy who back in college took a microwave magnetron and coupled it to a proper microwave waveguide and tried to make popcorn while the corn was still on the stalk in a field.
A few birds flew into the beam while it was powered up, and they were dead before they hit the ground due to about 1KW of microwaves cooking their brains.
After that we decided we probably shouldn't be operating high power microwave devices without ourselves sitting in a proper faraday cage.

It appears that you were not rectifying the high voltage from the stun gun, so you are supplying AC to the cathode. The tube wants to see DC. Use the diode hanging off the capacitor as a half-wave rectifier. You may need to use a few in series as your stungun may supply more voltage than one diode can handle (I believe about 6 KV). The diode and capacitor normally act as a rectifier and voltage doubler, but you are using the capcitor in parallel and the diode not at all, so they don't do either of those things here in your circuit.
You are correct in that the stun is unable to source much current to the magnetron. So this raises the question... why are you using a stun gun instead of simply using the microwave oven transformer, capacitor, and diode arranged as intended in the original donor microwave oven?
Note that even with AC you will get some activity as the tube itself tends to rectify the high voltage.

Tldr; The power grid is in protective sections, so you cannot get enough current back to the generators to break them.
The power grid is separated in protective zones to keep a short in a house somewhere from frying the generators. For instance, the breakers in your house count as a zone, and there's breakers, fuses and monitoring devices/protective equipment protecting the individual zones. So it's pretty much impossible to do.

However, if it worked there is no possible way it wouldn’t also trash other vehicles around it. I suspect they gave up on the idea due to excessive collateral damage.

Translation of the very beginning of the original video: "(Guy in robe:) Source of microwaves are magnetrons from microwave ovens. It's powered with high voltage from the stun gun. The secret of far effect distance is in correct match of Magnetrons and horn antenna. (Other guy:) Which was hard to get. (Guy in robe again:) There is used a powerful stun gun with amplified supply, and 'military' capacitors. ('military' means they powerful-as-f**k, in general they significantly outperforms usual capacitors)"
You didn't match the magnetrons with antenna, aren't ya? Also 30kV might not be enough, Kreosan have amplified their stun gun.

Chaining emitters requires synchronizing them, otherwise they just interfere with each other. The tube also has to be a specific size relative to the wave length, and I think for microwaves it's a straight tube rather than a cone shape. I've seen two designs for chaining emitters. One used a tiny reflector in front of each emitter that sent waves back to the next emitter, causing them to synchronize. The other used a timed signal for the pulses to account for delay between emitters. Not sure how well either method works, but it's never done in a commercial product, so that might be a clue to their effectiveness.

If you ever remember points and a car ignition system with coil. You will note that the coil is charged up with DC when the points a closed. And it is when the points open, that the field collapses in the coil, generating a larger voltage spike in the secondary coil (Transformer). And that the capacitor/condenser (old fashioned language, after Moses and JC) (Leyden Jar lightning in a jar by static storage is the grand daddy of modern capacitor) is in parallel with the points, so it gets the full hit of the COIL discharge collapsing field and its resulting BACK EMF, which gives a much larger current and spark on the secondary. And also limits the spark across the points, making them live longer and prosper. (Meaning they don't burn out as quick).
Capacitors store a larger current. So as Moses Capacitor, or its called the Ark of the Covenant. A Leyden Jar, made of Gold on the outer plate and inner plates, with acacia wood as the insulator between them. It stored enough voltage and CURRENT combination to kill people touched it. Which made it very handy for the sceptics that said, Naw God is not in that box! ZAP!
And it killed both good and bad men alike, including a priests two sons, as it jumped out like lightning. And also another guy carrying it on his donkey, and it stumbled so he put out his hand to steady the ark, and it arced out at him and struck him dead. Moses was a bit miffed that God would do such a thing... well now you know it was not God, it was ELECTRICITY. Makes you wonder why an ALIEN would give Moses a Magicians Box to prove that God was with them. But what a placebo effect.
So be careful that even charging up a huge capacitor of a 20 Litre barrel by a Van Der Graaf generator is enough to kill people. The Ark of Moses (Leyden Jar considered most holy presence of God) was 1.5 cubits by 2.5 cubits by 1.5 cubits high. The guess is that the winds of the angels (Cheribum) acted like antenna and collected energy from the earths magnetic field and air combination, like lightning is formed at higher altitudes. And stored it as a CURRENT and voltage combo. Like when you get a static shock build up from rubbing your feet on carpet. It stores up because of rubber soles etc like a capacitor. Doing it on a grander scale give that voltage a higher current. And that is what kills. For the record cubits varied between 18" and 21" depending on if it was a royal cubit based upon the size of the foot of the Pharaoh. Giants they were. So 27"W 45"L x 27"H . Or you could use a plastic storage container of a decent size. Note putting the wings together would short it out, if wired correctly. Slightly apart would create an interesting display of arcing as it charged up enough to jump the gap. And putting them wider would allow a much greater charge. This magic box would then part water, like the River Jordan as mentioned in Joshua 3. Since Gold repels both north and south poles of magnets. The elements of water, having both north and south poles, would be repelled all the more with a huge voltage of electrostatic charge. Ethiopia is rumoured to have the original ark as you can see in research. With the caretakers going blind and dying after about a year on the job. The original storage place in the Temple of Solomon was gold lined, which is like lead to shield from the radiation. The Ark was worshipped as if it was the presence of God, with the arks and mini lightning. It has notoriety and gave the placebo effect boost to faith. It was however captured by the Philistines and they all got cancerous tumours and hemorrhoid's from it. So don't ignorantly mock holy relics, they have an alien kick to them.

    • @MindTrip888
      @MindTrip888 5 лет назад

So consider making up your own capacitor, but do be careful. Out of plastic containers of several litres in size that you can line with aluminium tape. Or glass jars as to the original Leyden Jar. As glass is a great high voltage insulator. Coffee jars or jam jars. But a good sized 20L plastic bucket. Make sure that you insulate it so you wont accidentally touch it and kills yourself or someone. And do shield those magnetrons, as the radiation won't be apparent to kill you immediately, but it will take about 10 years or so to show up as cancer. Even magnetic fields from MINE detector vehicles from world war 2 had all the occupants die of cancer decades later.

The Ukrainian video was clearly fake , but you got a few things wrong in your video too. The cells they used look like they could be ICR18650 30q which discharges at 30 amps.
18650 batteries typically have a lot more than 4w of power , most high drain cells discharge at 30 to 35 amps . At full charge of 4.2v x 4 cells x 30 amps = 504 watts .
If you look at your new battery it's a 2s 7.4 volt making it 14.8v at 800 mah with a 30c rating, this gives it an amp output of only 24 amps or 355.2 watts.
In short if you are doing this to bust a myth you underpowered your device by 29.52 percent .
If you turn on subtitles in the russian video they clearly say they add capacitors to their setup too but don't tell you the type or capacity of those capacitors so that's also up in the air.
You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting. LOL

    • @wind5250
      @wind5250 6 лет назад

This application isn't continuous discharge its pulse current , most 18650 cells can pass 25a in pulse current with no issues. My ebike proves this on a daily basis as it's powered by over 200 of these cells, monitored by voltage , amperage and temperature. The cell degradation is logged using a combination of charge / discharge monitoring which tracks all of these aspects on every battery . 30amps or more for this usage is easily more than achievable.

I own the same brand too, more importantly the same model, you can see it here
www.amazon.com/flite-800mAh-7-4V-18AWG-Battery/dp/B002FTJAZK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1513788647&sr=8-2&keywords=E-flite+2s. The battery clearly says 24 amp discharge
a simple c rate calculator gives you the same results
I think you have the 3s version which is 66 amp discharge seen here
      www.amazon.com/flite-2200mAh-11-1V-13AWG-Battery/dp/B004PO4HF6/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1513788796&sr=1-1&keywords=E-flite+3s
E-flite Is a product produced under the parent company Horizon hobby which does not sell any E-flite batteries in a s2 configuration with a higher amp output than 24 amps , in fact they only have 3 batteries in the 2s configuration with that color scheme here are all 3

I would enjoy seeing a video where you perfect this super weapon so it does what they wanted but you don’t need to make it powered by a stun gun and a couple vape batteries.

Microwave some lemon juice and take a sponge to it you neanderthal. Yes, a microwave will naturally look like that... if you never clean it xD

my one is worse, it has actual living mould inside it that i can't get out, and because of science the microwave itself can't kill the mould.

A phase correction must be made for multiple magnetrons, out of phase reduces out put power, in phase multiplies out put power
