- Vaughn Gittin Jr. heads to Niigata, Japan in his 550 HP 5.0L V-8 Mustang RTR to take on Daigo Saito’s 650 HP V-12 Drift Lamborghini. Built by Liberty Walk and Phat Five racing, Saito's AWD to RWD converted beast is looking for a fight. The two drift legends head to Niigata, Japan to battle it out on a touge run as they head into the abandoned Niigata Russian Village. Like something from a post apocalyptic world, the village provides the perfect backdrop for these outrageous machines to create some mayhem. After watching this video, if your dreams aren’t filled with the sweet sounds of a V-8 Muscle Car battling against a V-12 Supecar, something is seriously wrong with you. The production value along with the editing is simply awesome. The use of transitions is truly incredible. Especially the match cut at 3:09. Overall the cinematography, editing and the sound design is top notch. This is certainly by far one of the best car drift videos I have ever seen.

+lilmario0 They recorded the two shots (Day & Night) to look exactly the same, then made them fade into each other quickly enough so you don't notice the transitio. They also made the backfire really bright so the transition seems even smoother. That would be my guess
+Tabarnacos2 even though the transition isn't that good, the lambo makes a jump of about 1-1.5 meters which is quite a lot, putting in a bright flash from the exhaust flame to cover it up doesn't help the situation either, but it's still good dont get me wrong :P

Driving in second seems like the most difficult. You have all the debris, smoke in front of you, you have to stay and follow the guys in front of you and stay with his lines, you also have to control your speed and not bump him.... Vaughn, you are the king of drifting!!

Mustangs are powerful, good looking, and relatively inexpensive. Comparing a 50k mustang to a 400k lamborghini seems a bit counterintuitive though... lol

My God how much money was spent turning a Murciealgo into a drift car??
There's been a few videos explaining the fab work gone into it. It's basically using all Toyota steering and suspension components as that's what Daigo knows best.

He use different parts from different cars that's why and other then the body that's it
Most of the parts on Daigo's Murci are aftermarket and modified parts from different cars. If I remember correctly, his custom angle kit is basically a hacked-up Celica steering knuckle..

That Murci's probably a Frankenstein now. Original Lambo parts are unreliable and really expensive.
