Keeping chickens has connected me to the wheel of life. Death is the flip side of life. you can't haave one without the other. All lives end. As a human being you need to accept this and embrace the whole process. On a more immediate note, we hare heading for hard times. The more you can do to feed yourself and your family the better off we all are.b. Good luck!
Haha good point! There are so many avenues one could take in answering that and it reminds of that book: Would You Rather 😂 Thanks for watching, take care ✌🏻
In my book, you name your animal, it's a pet. You don't name animals you're going to eat. Every other animal you have is a pet, including dairy cows. That means you have more attachment to them than you would if you're just raising them to eat.
@@skepticalobserver2135 that’s a fair assessment! Yes, I am attached to them and if it came down to really, really rough times it would be hard but that’s the interesting point to this- the need to survive brings something out of us that we don’t have to tap into too much these days. Thanks for watching and sharing! ✌🏻

We do live in a very fragile system. Most don't realize that. Growing food is a constant learning process for sure 😊
So true! And thanks to your channel for trying to bring awareness of it and you and Mrs Dawg walking the walk ✌🏻

Next to the aisle where the brown cows that make chocolate milk are 😂😂✌🏻

Most of my closest friends where ones that I worked with.
Would you eat your dogs if things took a downward spiral, I think that tells you where to draw the line about pets😀🐕
