    I dont think any Player in the NBA has made tough shots more than Kobe Bryant. People bring up efficiency when they compare Kobe with others, but this video shows you perfectly why he has lesser FG%. Inspite of being guarded and double teamed that well, he made the most difficult shots. Respect to the one and only Black Mamba.

    • @TheTariqibnziyad
      @TheTariqibnziyad 5 лет назад +13

      And actually he wasnt that bad on efficiency compared to all top scorers in his era, the era of no spacing and dead ball, he is 49% on two pointers in all his healthy years.

      yes you are 100% correct. The degree of difficulty of his shots were literally at the apex of difficulty in NBA History. And still shot 44% from the field, 32% 3-pointer and 83% Free Throw for his 20 year career. If anyone thinks my comment that Kobe's shots were at the Apex of difficulty in NBA History......Click on the links to see the craziness Kobe was doing night in and night out.

    The Celtics were playing the toughest most physical defense i have ever seen on a superstar player in the modern era, and Kobe was still knocking down shots in the most pressure filled moments. Kobe is the best perimeter player since Jordan no doubt.

    Anytime Kobe lost a game in a series back in 2009 and 2010. He would always have that face and determination to win in the other team home.. And embarrassed them . It happen with the Jazz in the 2009 playoffs and then with the Celtics. Kobe was on a mission .

    This comment is for all the idiots who say "Kobe didn't deserve Finals MVP."
    Kobe's averages in the 2010 NBA Finals up until Game 7 (rounded):
    • 30 PPG
    • 7 Rebounds
    • 4.2 Assists
    • 2.5 Steals
    • 45% shooting from the field
    • 40% shooting from 3
    • 93+% shooting from the free throw line
    And most people that try to discredit him for his awful shooting in Game 7 don't even realize that he played great defense, GOT 15 REBOUNDS AS A SHOOTING GUARD, and also got to the free throw line plenty and was VERY effective and clutch in the 4th quarter. And on top of that, EVERYONE shot poorly in Game 7 and he also had a fractured finger on his shooting hand. Overall, before people try to discredit his greatness in the 2010 Finals, they should do their research and also learn a thing or two about basketball.

      @lakerguy-fd4rb 8 лет назад +6

      Totally agree. It's the stupidest argument people can possibly make.
      And Game 7 was his own form of masterpiece. He did *everything* BUT shoot well. But everything else you could do on a basketball court to win a game, he did. Stupid motherfuckers sit there acting like Pau at 18/12 for the series made him the MVP. Ridiculous. Smh.

      @stevencoardvenice 7 лет назад +5

      why would you even bother "arguing" about the fact that the best basketball player of out time won an nba finals MVP?. there is NO one, including lebron and Westbrook and harden, in today's game, that could even come close to making half of these shots in a finals situation

    • @stevencoardvenice
      @stevencoardvenice 7 лет назад +7

      Kobe worked his fucking ass off since the 90s to develop these shot making skills, and the Jordan Jockers simply refuse to admit that Kobe in his prime would probably smash Michal jordan one on one

    What I will miss about Kobe is his natural ability to just compete. he is such a competitor when it comes to basketball. It's very tough to be with the same team for 20 years. through the Good and bad, different coaches, players and injuries he has always competed. It will be along time from now before we see a determined, passionate, competitive, etc like Kobe. These players these days just don't fight like he did.

  • @jakedodsonjake
    @jakedodsonjake 9 лет назад +49

    This was Kobe's masterpiece, sure a 6th ring would be nice, but this is better, its 2010 the end of the decade of kobe's last ten years dominating the league, people think he's done, and new stars are entering into their own approaching stardom, kobe's last championship, a victory in los angeles against historic rivals, boston, led by a trio of hall of famers. This is what legends are made of, even if Jordan is the goat, he will never have the mystic of laker legends overcoming fantastic Boston teams in the NBA finals. LA Legacy.

    • @stevencoardvenice

It's kind of depressing to see where he Is now coming to the Inevitable end that they all do, and playing with a team like that now. It amazes ma how good this Celtics team was, it's no coincidence the Cavs never made it to the Finals from 08-10 and its because of this Celtics team. They would have made it in 09 had KG not gotten injured. Tony Allen, Perkins (he was good back then) , Rasheed Wallace, Nate Robinson, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen (greatest shooter ever), Kevin Garnett , Rajon Rondo (top 6 pg at that time) . I'm shocked that Kobe willed his team to victory. You can talk about how Pau played better than Kobe in game 7 but those road games in that rowdy Boston crowd where Kobe shined is what won this series for the Lakers.

    In all honesty and as they say that hindsight is 20/20 that stands true because looking back I now see that we we're deprived of a classic series between the Lakers and Celtics in 2009 that would of gone the distance in which had Celtics would make it back in 2010 which would of made it three consecutive years the two teams met in the Finals. It would of been the tie breakers between the Celtics winning in 08 and the Lakers winning in 2010.

    Funny how quickly people forget... All this damn hype about LeBron. Like stfu, he's not even that damn good. He was in an awful conference and had All Star teammates. Kobe made Gasol and Bynum what they are, Wade already won a ring on his own, and Bosh was the leader of the Raptors. Let's see how the "King" does back in Cleveland, the place where he got knocked out of the 2nd round from year to year.

      Stormy2021 Lol always giving LeBron help. Dan Gilbert was whining about CP3 going to LA, but Kevin Love can go to the Cavaliers for LeBron and Kyrie? Because that's fair right?

    Not only did Bryant play big but the Lakers big played BIG!!! Bothe Gasol and Bynum where huge in the series that propelled them over their arch rivals to even the score of 1 up between their meeting in 08 and 10....again we we're screwed from a classic series in 2009 when the Magic upset the heavily favorite Celtics team.
