For Liberty city they coulda used the LCS map since the story took place in 1998. That would probably be a bit more tricky since LCS is a PS exclusive.
A couple of years ago I had modded GTA V to where I had old San Andreas and IV’s Liberty City on opposite sides of the island. The game legitimately felt like I was playing in a real life place with how grandiose everything looked. I’d really love that sense of scale in GTA VI.
Not even joking, this is legitimately how I wanted the original game to be. Used to regularly fly both East and South East, just hoping I would eventually come across land. What a great mod. 😎👏👊👍
With how big the total map is and how long the bridges are, the mapper/s could add their own variety of clutter in-between the islands. Small archipelagos, mid-bridge gas station malls, U-turn slots that loop over or under the bridges, unique towns/villages, more GTA-esque easter eggs about aliens, ghosts, bigfoot, and other encounters, and more lore-friendly custom content; the possibilities have been made endless. Hell, they could port over Carcer City somewhere lol

It would be cool if the wrong cars popped up wherever. Maybe have it selectable. Make a full game and have a switch over kinda like gta5 but a little more classic style. Maybe the people don't have so much combined missions just be able to jump to different people have a little bit inter connection somehow.

We had a trilogy of GTA games that came out in half a decade. Now we're waiting 9 years and counting for the next installment. Thankfully there's some hardcore modders that continue to build on these classic games and keep the GTA legacy fresh. Seeing as GTA:O is the current face of the series, the real soul of it will always lay in the 3-D trilogy.
Fun fact that many probably don't know about, the car outside the safe house in "Miami beach" is based of a real car that always is parked out the Avalon hotel in Miami beach.
kind of like that one Adder that was always parked on Portola Drive in GTA V, which is also based on a real life car that's always parked there as well
This is insane work, I don't know how it's even possible. Everything is there even cars are in the right place. There is some glitches with the shadows for the visual part but the merge is insane. Sadly tho there is no story and mission with it, being able to switch characters to be able to play all stories would be something so amazing
I actually own a digital copy of the definitive edition, I got it the day it came out, and I don't think it's bad at all. Yeah it had a few small bugs and some hilarious glitches, but nothing made the game unplayable and unbeatable as I beat all three within a few days of it's release. I still think this mod is awesome and tempted to give it a go since I always wanted a GTA with all 3 maps in one playable experience

I loved the detail of the intersection of the 3 highways being a work in progress, so to speak, with roads being built and stuff

As much as I like this, I'm wondering if memory limitations would prevent these areas from being connected by a North Yankton-esque prairie area- Like have a lot of small towns in it, then it turns into the cities region as you get closer. I know I'd get annoyed with the bridges fast if Rockstar did do something like this.
the banked turns on the highway are a bit goofy, but it's neat mod and cool way to connect roads to all the cities. I like how a construction zone was used to transition between the textures used on each map.
Awesome mod. If it were to be implemented in some sort of game that it’s story line consists of going to all 3 areas, then realistically the player should use a plane to get to the other place. Because the areas represent California, Miami, and New York which need a plane to travel between them lol.

This would’ve been the perfect way to handle the definitive edition. They could’ve just made the trilogy into one expansive game where you can switch between protagonists and roam these maps simultaneously with their separate storylines still intact. The only issue is that it would’ve convoluted the 3D universe’s timeline.
They could have done a GTA San Andreas Stories instead of the mess we got with the Definitive Edition...connecting San Andreas, Liberty City and Vice City is no problem from a technical standpoint. The story could include's CJ's life in Groove Street and how he fled the state to go to Liberty City and then went down south to do some business.
Pretty cool to see the maps in comparison to eachother. The sheer size difference between San Andreas, Liberty City, and Vice City is astounding. Hope someone in like 5 or 10 years will do the same with GTA 4, 5 and 6.
Construction site near each city reminds me how back in 2016-2018 there's a lot of highway construction project in Indonesia that is only really done in 2019.

It should keep the original radio stations on each map. Songs are a very important part of the game. Leaving that aside, it was magnificent! a dream come true.

A guy even made a trailer for it where CJ rode on one of the passenger planes, while Tears For Fears "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" was playing.* Wonder if anyone else from that time remembers. They even tried mashing floor textures together (I THINK?)
Freeways look so calm while still in SA! I remember cars moving at impossible speeds and slamming into each other for huge pile-ups and drivers brawling with shovels lol. I kinda prefer that random madness.

Really good mod, this is what it should've been done in the definitive edition of the trilogy. Although there's just one thing that bugs me, in Liberty City some areas you drive like the British, that is really weird.
I LOVE and MISS that mafia Sentinel!!!! I’m really surprised that a lot of the cars from the past gta games haven’t been released as Classic editions for sale in GTA Online!!! They performed great and sound incredible! I’ve been waiting for that car to come out on GTA Online along with the the old Fox Body Mustang GT from San Andreas (I forget the name)
Now modders just need to get every mission from the trilogy and the Stories games into the open world, all functional and playable in a single playthrough. Your specific character takes the place of Claude Speed, Tommy Vercetti and Carl Johnson, Would be completely lore breaking, not-withstanding the time travel, but goddamn what a nostalgia trip. Get it done modding community, I believe in you.
Imagine the remastered being just the original games but in each of them the other two maps were available. Add some modern shooting mechanics and you have a masterpiece.
I did a Superman flight tour. I am indeed disappointed that the mod crashes in certain spots. But it's to be expected since the mod is t updated or finished The mod is still wonderful over all
Imagine this but with gta 5 character switching would be amazing. Switching to CJ in San Andreas next minute switches to Claude or Tommy in another city with all the missions from all three games into one with a secret mission for all three characters to meet each other to do a last mission together.

It needs quite a bit of work still, the transition between San Andreas into the new highway not only looks very out of place, traffic also takes a while to properly load in. Vice city is fine for the most part. Liberty city has a very rough entry from the highway, plus a ton of roads where traffic is just on the wrong lane. Does it look impressive? Yes. Doesn't look like it'll grip the average player for more than half an hour in its current form tho.
Nice mod! I hope this will be how GTA VI: Online will be released with all 3 maps from GTA IV, GTA V and GTA VI. It would be awesome if you added all 3 characters and you could change between them like in GTA V and play all 3 story lines.

I don't think so, GTA:SA is a 32-bit windows app so it can guzzle up to 4GB of RAM,

Freeways look so calm while still in SA! I remember cars moving at impossible speeds and slamming into each other for huge pile-ups and drivers brawling with shovels lol. I kinda prefer that random madness.
Been playing these games since they came out on PS2 and I still do, I have dreamt of something like this for 20. Absolutely brilliant job!

Really good mod, this is what it should've been done in the definitive edition of the trilogy. Although there's just one thing that bugs me, in Liberty City some areas you drive like the British, that is really weird.

I LOVE and MISS that mafia Sentinel!!!! I’m really surprised that a lot of the cars from the past gta games haven’t been released as Classic editions for sale in GTA Online!!! They performed great and sound incredible! I’ve been waiting for that car to come out on GTA Online along with the the old Fox Body Mustang GT from San Andreas (I forget the name)
Adding some better bridges between all cities would be really great. Also new vehicle mods would be fantastic with this upgrade.
Imagine having a multiplayer online game for this
Now modders just need to get every mission from the trilogy and the Stories games into the open world, all functional and playable in a single playthrough. Your specific character takes the place of Claude Speed, Tommy Vercetti and Carl Johnson, Would be completely lore breaking, not-withstanding the time travel, but goddamn what a nostalgia trip. Get it done modding community, I believe in you.
Too much events that's overlap and make no sense though.
I think the entrance to liberty city should be the tunnel at the mountains, the entrance now is pretty rough

Imagine the remastered being just the original games but in each of them the other two maps were available.
Add some modern shooting mechanics and you have a masterpiece.
I did a Superman flight tour. I am indeed disappointed that the mod crashes in certain spots. But it's to be expected since the mod is t updated or finished

Imagine this but with gta 5 character switching would be amazing. Switching to CJ in San Andreas next minute switches to Claude or Tommy in another city with all the missions from all three games into one with a secret mission for all three characters to meet each other to do a last mission together.

It needs quite a bit of work still, the transition between San Andreas into the new highway not only looks very out of place, traffic also takes a while to properly load in.
Vice city is fine for the most part.
Liberty city has a very rough entry from the highway, plus a ton of roads where traffic is just on the wrong lane.
Does it look impressive? Yes.
Doesn't look like it'll grip the average player for more than half an hour in its current form tho.
Nice mod! I hope this will be how GTA VI: Online will be released with all 3 maps from GTA IV, GTA V and GTA VI. It would be awesome if you added all 3 characters and you could change between them like in GTA V and play all 3 story lines.
if you added the character switch mod to this with claude, tommy and cj in their own cities, it would be icing to the cake. which by the way is really well done
I say this is what it dreams look like. This was supposed to be. Just imagine, in the new released GTA Trilogy Remastered, if Rockstar made the maps like this connecting the 3 stories and incorporate chronological order that would break world records.
