I think after all the punch training, in the end, the standing grapple/strike zone is the sweet spot. Every 1 second you buy yourself becomes a dominant win. The more you add up the better. I also count ANY punch the enemy cannot see or flinch to as a "shadow strike". A shadow strike is simply any punch the enemy senses did not react to. (they say the punch that KO's you is the one you didnt see or look at)
Awesome distinction thank you sifu. When the person tries to escape your sticky hands, that's when you strike. As you said, that's the trap, the person thinks they are getting away, but they are moving right into your strikes.
Thank you
Golden lesson
Thank you
0:32 Hi Alan what are some options that you would consider doing if your opponent posts on your head with his left arm and tries to pull his right arm free?
Really depends on lots of factors, the rest of the course on my site covers all these things
Khabib was a master at that kind of stratedgy
Very true. Also my favorite fighter!
Sounds a bit like how Roberto Duran fought.
Yes 100% If you want him explaining his style it is very much the same.
@@alanorrwingchunacademy Yeah, Roberto Duran was excellent at sticky hands.
