  • In Part 2, I recap relevant bits of Part 1, then show the results of the Acetone on the Hybrid module at various points in time, cleanup and then reverse engineer it's circuit, cringingly "repair" the module, reassemble the meter, and then finally check it's current consumption and low-voltage detector.
Calibration is next on the list.

Thank you very much for the much appreciated video of the repair of this further good meter.
I damaged a few days ago the hybrid for measuring capacitance, in this condition it blocked the correct measurements of other parameters.
Thanks to your video I regained my "right hand" and a friend!!! which is already 30 years old!!! - multimeter is already working and the hybrid "softens " in the jar hi hi Thank you very much and greetings 👏👏👏👏👍+ sub 🙂

Helo..I have Metex ME-32 multimeter. Its 20 years old, but now I have a problem. If I shorten probes it shows -16mV. When I measure AA battery positive to positive it shows 1.3V when I change probes positive to negative it shows -1.6V. What can be wrong?

Great video. Thank you. Cannot figure out how to remove the selector switch knob to access bottom PCB. Really appreciate any tips on how to remove. Thank you.
