  • The rally doesn’t officially start until tomorrow, we opened up a day early and ended up with a little bit of business. Nothing really to brag about but our sales are better than they were this day last year so up is up as I always say.

    it was a pleasure meeting you today at the rally. you are a hard working man i saw that you are working alongside with your crew, very humbling i must say

      Oh, because I started at the bottom with almost nothing I will never forget those hard times, and there’s nothing that I ask my crew to do that I’m not willing to do myself. We work as a team, rather than a boss and employees.

    Awesome, love the videos! We'll be out there Saturday, I'm not quite ready for my 5000 mile oil change but should be ready for it in March Bike Week! What's an estimate for a '22 SGS 114 M8 3 hole change? Thanks!

    • @amsoiladam
      @amsoiladam  10 месяцев назад +1

      The three whole oil change is 225+ tax, if you want the entire 5000 mile service it would be 299+ tax

    Have you ever calculated how much gas your bike uses sitting there idling? Lets say during a week rally.

    • @amsoiladam
      @amsoiladam  10 месяцев назад +2

      I can usually get about 18 hours per tank full

    Hi Adam Back in the late 90,s I work at Mustang Seat co The main warehouse they only sold to dealers they would have toys, hard parts, tee shirts, wall signs, Jewely, leather coats etc. I loved working there it was the best job I ever had. Christmas time was the busy time of the year. Thanks for the video.

      @@user-qs2bi5os2t well that supreme service is for the three holes on a Harley Davidson. Your Goldwing will be considerably cheaper.

    Hey Adam, I’m interested in getting Love Juggs and have a quick question. I have a Custom Dynamics Beast Airhorn installed and I’m curious if the Love Jugs will fit with this aftermarket horn. I have a 16 Ultra Limited Low 103 Twin Cam. Thanks
    Ken

      May we suggest you look into Jims Force Flow Fan ...IMO - it's fair in away a "better" cooling system then LJugs . However it would replace your airhorn...?

    • @amsoiladam
      @amsoiladam  10 месяцев назад +1

      The gyms doesn’t even come close to performing as well as Love Jugs. Not even close.!!!!

    • @amsoiladam
      @amsoiladam  10 месяцев назад

      I would need to see a picture of the horn, there are multiple models of the beast horn, and some of them will work with some of the fans that we have, but not all. If you want, you can send me an email with pictures of what you have.

      @@amsoiladam I respectfully disagree . There have been several in depth research and reviews showing Jims Force Flow Fan to be a superior quality cooling fan system . I did my research and found the Jims fan to be better at cooling and long-term usage and yes I purchased JIMS cooling fan over LJugs. Always appreciate your opinion Thank you Adam .

    • @amsoiladam
      @amsoiladam  10 месяцев назад +1

      @@deanbedetti please send me the links to where you’ve gathered this information because I’m definitely very curious. We’ve done extensive testing as well in-house and put it all up on RUclips and proven the difference. The air volume and velocity that they provide is considerably lower. The positioning of the fan is at the weakest point that you could even put it to get proper cooling. Nothing is even targeted or engineered for cooling performance other than just the idea to hang a fan where the horn used to be. I believe They worried more about appearance then they did a performance. I would love to see that it to prove otherwise. I will admit that artist that it is very old, but you may just motivate me to pull that Jim’s fan out of my storage building and show people the difference again.

    For that shift lever, may I suggest RUSTOLEUM APPLIANCE ENAMEL. That stuff is armor tough. If you can get it to stick to the chrome, it'll be cheaper than powder coating.

    Floorboard extenders are a must have on the touring bikes if you ask me. Without them my knees are pressed against the gas tank too tightly. It's always one of the first things I change. Also a toe peg extender which brings that out a few inches as well. These mods help spread the legs and feet out to a more comfy riding position. I too replaced the shifter linkage this year after having a problem with the OEM. Looks nicer and is more securely attached to the arms now. Only problem I had was the bolt and nut that came with mine extended too far into the engine area. Interfered with proper shifting and actually scratched a couple fins. Simple fix using a shorter bolt. You should be happy with both those upgrades.

    • @amsoiladam
      @amsoiladam  10 месяцев назад

      The bolt that I scrounged for the front shift linkage point was too long as well. It was going to interfere with the cylinder. However, I cut it short before the install and it works well now. Although I’ve only rode a few miles with modifications I am definitely going to have to be careful because the floorboard extenders definitely make my floorboards hit the ground a whole lot easier. I will have to tame down my cornering just a Wee bit

    Hey adam, I took my stock heat shields off and had them powder coated 10 years ago. That lasted about a year or 2, so I ordered the blacked out set from hd. They are expensive at $200 but they have held up so far.
