Thank you very much for this informative great video Dr Neil. I really enjoy watching your videos. i have a question, regarding cystic fibrosis it is written on FA that ibuprofen slow the disease progression. So I think it improves patient’s condition, isn’t it?
Hello Sir, watched a lot of your videos and it’s so very ry helpful.Do u have a video on bacterial genetics? Transformation conjugation etc.I have been really struggling with it.
Thanks for this vid! Quick question, Autosomal dominant, chance of kid having the disease is 50%… what if they specifically ask chance of daughter having the disease? Is that 25%? (0.5 x 0.5)?
Hi dr. Neil! I wanted to ask you that in first aid it is written that ibuprofen slows disease progression of cystic fibrosis. So in a question that asks the management of CF, which one should we select among ibuprofen or pancreatic lipase?
One more question regarding the pathophysiology of heart. In uworld, they had asked a question asking that what would happen to the size of heart chambers in ventricular septal defect? I thought the answer would be increased right ventricle cavity size, but the answer was increased left atrium cavity size. Can you explain why?

Hello Dr. Neil ..I have a small doubt regarding the question at 24:50 ..like why not we gave Gentamycin to improve his current conditions of Pseudomonas infection and that too is respiratory infection whereas lipase has a pancreatic role THANKS
When I wrote this question, I was mainly focusing on the Cystic Fibrosis element...and not so much on lung versus pancreas feature. My original answer choices had a Fluoroquinolone which definitely confused people... On STEP 1 put the most appropriate, though on this question my intent was only to look at Global Diagnosis... This was a spinoff of a question I had seen from NBME.

From Mehlman, for hormones in downs syndrome, if the hormone name has H, its high -> b-hcg and inhibin are high, estriol and AFP are low
well alpHa-feto protein has H in it, so doesn't really work?
