I feel you on the hair rant. Taking a shower is like a full time job for everything you have to do!
A full time job lol you are so right! My Dad's like "Why do you take so long in the shower you use up all the hot water?!" and I'm like "IF ONLY YOU UNDERSTOOD..."

Sundays are my favorite day of the week, and I can tell that's pretty because all the best bloggers/vloggers have videos scheduled! But I just can't watch them on my phone, I wait 'til my mom goes out, make me some coffee or some tea, take something to eat, put on the table beside my bed and just get up when everything is watched. It has become pretty much like a ritual! (in fact, I like a good routine!)
i completely agree with you on the whole body hair thing. i shave, wax, and thread almost everything else, i'm not doing my arms, too.

I loved your hair rant! It's so true. I actually refuse to ever get my eyebrows done because it would be another hair removal ritual that I just can't be bothered with.

I didn't even notice your eyebrows until you pointed them out. I think we are always more critical of ourselves than other people are. We spend so much time analyzing ourselves in the mirror. Other people do not judge us as harshly as we judge ourselves. So don't worry about your eyebrows or your arms, or whatever you think is hairy or looks bad. Probably no one will notice!
P.S. your nephew is so adorable.

Us women are shunned if we talk about hair removal WHICH IS SH*T! Last week I uploaded a video about my waxing experience and I spared *NO DETAILS* and it's gone down a treat, because it's something we NEVER EVER talk about! WE HAVE HAIR!!!

so much yes to your rant at the start about #hairygirlproblems I'm super pale and my body hair is quite dark, meaning I've always been soooo self conscious about my arms! But not self conscious enough to start hair removal there because once you start, you kinda can't stop!

I'm with you on the body hair. 😉 When I was young, I was made fun of because of my body hair. Even now I'm super self conscious about it. But I know I shouldn't. It's just our society that imposes that we (girls) shouldn't have anybody hair and that's nonsense. We should embrace it and not feel bad about it. What if I don' t have my legs perfectly waxed, what If I've got hair in my arms? Who cares? Sometimes I don't have the patience to do it ALL the time. And that should be ok.

I'm really glad to see that I'm not the only one that drives around London, especially to Covent Garden! The lift in that station just makes me feel so claustrophobic! Also, I LOVE appy parking, I actually downloaded that after watching your 'what's on my iPhone video' and I always say it would be the perfect app if it tells you where the spaces are and also what times single yellows in specific areas are free after. It's good to know in advance as timings vary! :)
SO with you on the body hair thing! I noticed your arms on the Rankin shoot, but as someone with hairy arms myself, I just admired your confidence! And you still looked gorgeous on the shoot! I'm considering making a video just chatting about body hair but not sure if I feel confident enough!

Screw the not having hair anywhere, it makes me so mad!! Like you maybe Lily I have very thick hair growth, and find epilating the most comfortable and economical. The first time is HORRIBLE but it gets so much easier. Particularly for the underarm, it's been a total game changer for me!

Hairy is FINE. Anyone that says otherwise can fudge off. I don't shave anything - I get my eyebrows threaded and bleach my moustache. But that's it. And you know what? My shower time is SO short! I save time and water! Anyone who finds me revolting can go throw up while I smile and dance in celebration of all my hairy beauty. :)

Ah Lily, you are so genuine! Hairy girl problems, I am so happy I never followed trend of the girls at my school who had shaved their arms. I recently started bleaching the arm hair and it makes me feel so much better! I was so tired of people looking at it! :P

NO ONE says girls should have hairless bodies except us. We hold our own standards. If you keep feeding that idea it's never going to die. Have hair if you want to. It's your body.

Had to reply immediately after the hair rant (on some kind of roll, lol). YES. Get it all out. When I sit back to think about it, the hair removal process is absolutely maddening. Never mind painful and costly.

I know this sounds lame, but one of the first areas I met in London was Angel, with all those restaurants and shops, because my sister lives in Highbury!
