Although I don’t particularly like the colour of your worktops, they do go beautifully with the bricks and style of your kitchen. I think when then are covered in peel and stick it always looks tacky. Loving your videos.
Hi Elaina, leave the Countertops! Love them! Warm and cozy! Maybe you could add some hops to vase on table and maybe fireplace too! To tie it all in! Great job!
Hi, I just found your channel yesterday and I love that you are natural and sincere and you don't put on aires. I love what you did to the table and floors. I love your hood and the hops. What a creative idea. I think the countertops add to the warmth of the floor, table, hood and exposed brick, so I would leave them.
The garland Is absolutely gorgeous!😍❤🥰 and seriously the countertops look perfect the way they are they blend well with the brick. Such a cute kitchen! Love the stlye.
If you are set on changing the countertops, try a painting kit from a big box hardware store. You can find videos of decorators who painted their countertops.
seeing the 'final' product, I actually like the color of the original countertops now... it works well with what you've added and works perfectly for fall... As for your finale, I find it easier to be defiant with coffee... 🙂
I wouldn't usually be a fan of those countertops, but I feel with the lovely job you did decorating that they've become more invisible if that makes any sense.
Lovely kitchen. The counter top color and brick color meld nicely. However, one thing I would do is paint the white strip behind the stove where counter meets brick. The white seems to break up the flow. If painted right, it would pull the two surfaces together and look perfect.
I can not understand how the hops were in that box and yet look so big and fluffy! 🤯 I too have enjoyed the hops in Lydia’s kitchen. On your countertops…I have real marble countertops and love them, however, yours are not that bad, especially styled for fall. I think the durability and practicality of what you have versus the fussiness of the contact paper may not be worth the trade off for the look. Lean into them and as you have done, add marble with your accessories. That being said, I’m still here for you whether you have brown countertops or contact paper marble ones. 😁 I know how it feels to get a bee in your bonnet. Overall, it’s YOUR house…do what you enjoy most. 👍🏻
Where in the world do you find a hops garland. How innovative and beautiful! I just found your channel and I love your style. As far as your countertop is concerned it’s not THAT bad. Embrace it and live with it.😀
The hops garland is stunning!! I love Lydia as well and thought of her immediately when I saw this! Also…the final scene! 😂 I absolutely adore your filming style! As for the countertops…I totally get why your first instinct is to cover them…mine would be too. But maybe leave them for now…especially with fall approaching. Finding the perfect pieces to style them may change your opinion too! Anywho….great video!!!
I love the color scheme you have already. The countertops flow with everything else. Especially the bricks! Gorgeous. Idk about those contact paper. I think the connecting lines would bug my OCD tbh. 😁. Love your style.
counter tops look in the warm colour palette, I wouldn't change them. It would otherwise be too white. They add warmth, charm and character. You can play with the very many shades for brown, orange, beige, white, pink.. found within the specles of the countertops. I would leave them.
I understand not liking the counter tops. They don’t really go with your vibe like the floor (great choice on the parquet peel and stick). That being said in some of the footage counters looked fine. Take your time and see if you can come up with a renter friendly solution that you LOVE. If you put it out there the universe will answer. Looking forward to seeing more of what you do.
I think the counter tops fade away with all the beautiful things around them, I was curious, are you able to place all 6 chairs at the dining table or at least 4
I think your countertop looks fine just like that. Goes with the brick wall and gives a warm feel. I hate the "marble " peel and stick paper. I don't know why people use it, I personally do not like marble. That reminds of the 80-90's.
No, nothing looks worse than contact on counters. Just accept them as they are, it is just a rental. I thought I heard you say you got 6 bentwood chairs. Why only using 3 of them? I would at least use 4. I don't think I would like that greenery over my cooking surface. Of course artificial would have been better in that case.
Are ou taking acti g classes? You are so animated. I would cool it down a bit. You jump around too much and a little to expressive with your words. Your apartment in nice though.😮
The countertops are absolutely fine! They go with the colors, they’re in good shape, and they’ll be back in style before you know it.

Love your style. You remind me 60 years ago. I am 81 but still love designing my home. Keel up the good work.
Only 3.5 minutes into the video, but I love your countertops! They are warm-toned and cozy and work so well with the brick. Ok, back to your video
Very pretty❤. FYI to help with ugly light cords, I wrap all of mine in jute twine which in an old world french look,,,is gorgeous!
Love the countertops with your other choices! I would leave them. :)
I love the entire kitchen! Leave the counter tops as is, they kinda blend it. Can’t wait till Christmas!
The whole video was darn entertaining. I like your style.
Leave the counters. Beautiful. ❤❤❤
I think the countertops look great with the brick. They blend and don't stand out, allowing your decor to shine.

Wow, you made that garland look amazing.
Yes to the countertops. I want to do it myself but I want to see you do it first. lol
Where did you get the hoops? I love them!
I would not hang that tiny little picture there. I think a great vintage picture like you have on your counter would be perfect. Love your style!!!
Leave the counter tops as they are it goes well with the brick wall

Please give us a link to where you got the Garland. The room is absolutely stunning and I agree the countertops are perfection.
I love the gold silverware however, I think the glasses have a more silver look but a lot of people mix.
I’ve been searching for hop vine garland!!! Where can I find it? Thanks!
I'd give the contact paper a try!
I would leave them ❤

I feel that the countertops are just the right fit and colour as is. Love the kitchen and what you did to it.

Great idea with the chicken wire !! The hops vine Looks great !
Lemonade connoisseurs unite, CHEERS! considering counter top color-will have to come back. hehe, Elaina defiance scene!
Also, I wouldn’t touch those countertops. I love the brick and I think the countertop is great color.
I have the same countertops 😊, I think the color goes good with everything you have. What a darling , cozy kitchen! 👍

Looks so cute! Love the hops garland. Where did you buy it? etsy?
Lovely! Where did you order the beautiful hops garland from? Really gorgeous!

The countertops aren’t perfect however I have tried the contact paper and it doesn’t hold up and is difficult to install.
leave counter as is
