I am a landlord and have a clause that disallows command strips or tape or any adhesive of any kind. Causes more damage than thin nails. ESP in sunlight such as exterior doors. I still have residue on the front door of my rental. Not even adhesive remover could get rid of it. That being said, the room is beautiful! If I was your landlord I would have you make it permanent and leave it when you move. It’s definitely an upgrade.

Light in corner behind chair is all wrong. Pillows are wrong . Fireplace not finished But all else is fine. Think you will tire quickly from the business of the walls

I recall seeing a floor vent attachment (perhaps clear, hard plastic?), which directs warm air into the room and avoids warm air blowing on your wall paper. The wall paper is gorgeous.

Great job! Love the vintage scenery wall paper, love the color choice, love the Mary Poppins cameo but if I may make a suggestion? Just my opinion but think a LARGER TRIM around the wall paper would really give it a more elegant and polished look as I feel the current trim is just a bit too small. Just my opinion.

I truly love the wallpaper and the paint color over the fireplace. You should add a large beautiful antique outdoor painting above the fireplace that will match the wallpaper.

No, nothing looks worse than contact on counters. Just accept them as they are, it is just a rental. I thought I heard you say you got 6 bentwood chairs. Why only using 3 of them? I would at least use 4. I don't think I would like that greenery over my cooking surface. Of course artificial would have been better in that case.

I adore what you have done in this once bland room...well done. I admire your conviction. You truly are expressing yourself from a previous lifetime! I agree...before you said it, the lamp needs to go. I agree with another comment that you can mix old and new styles of course, but this particular lamp looks out of place , in my opinion.
