6 of the the top 20 400 m runners are active. Wayde Van Niekerk, Michael Norman, Steven Gardiner, Fred Kerley, Kirani James, Akeem Bloomfield. The Olympics is going to be unbelievably good.
@@Themanhimself-o1h The man himself is recovering slowly but surely. I also want to see him at the top his game. Then that will be another unbelievable performance. There is a good chance that in this Olympics that Niekerk, Norman, Gardiner, Kerley and Bloomefield all being able to go sub 44.Imagine 5 under 44! Wow! The form of all them vary so much. Gardiner with his beautiful loping stride makes it look so easy while Norman brutally attacks the 400 m with great speed and power
ALL PARTICIPANTS IS SUPER PRACTICE FULL, TECHNICAL FULL, STAMINA FULL, STRONG FULL, ENERGY FULL AND POWERFUL....... IN THIS SITUATION WINER IS WONDERFUL............
Cat from Houston, if he doesn’t go pro and stay in school some collegiate records will get damaged this season. Leroy and Carl have to remember you can’t run him dead because he is an Olympic hopeful
Completely stopped at 1:04s. Just started it last night a d when I saw Makwala crash out, that was it for me. What happened to Makwala, Thebe, and Harroon? They're dying off........................ "Makwala is out. Makwala is gone. It's not the first time."- The commentator for the first race and that is such a disappointment. I'm saddened for him due to what the I.A.A.F. did to him in the London Worlds and how he and Thebe, along with Haroon, got the raw end of the deal. Always disappointment..... .. whenever will things start to look good for them?.............................. I can't bear to see Makwala fall from 0:44- 0:51s. How did the officials respond? Someone help me with this.................... All is lost......................................................................
Botswana had three top 400m runners in the world in last few years. But all of them were dissapeared in now. Makwala, Thebe and Sibanda. Actually Sibanda made the Rio final at age of 19 and his PB is around 44 low. Thebe also went 44 low and Makwala was a 43 man. Add Nigel Amos 800m specialist who also can go 45 low in 400m, Botswana could have one of the top 4x400 relay in the world. Unfortunately all went wrong for them.
Michael Norman ran a 43.45 his season opener last year and he has a faster 200m than Van Neikerk. I love both athletes but saying he “cant be beat” is completely not true. If Normal can stay injury free next year he has a decent chance of breaking the WR
This Norman guy who everybody was hyping up to win at world championship and break Van Nekirk 's world record came LAST place in a SEMI -FINAL in the second biggest stage in athletics in Doha in 2019. ....... LAST !!! smh
He got hurt and still ran a high 45, how can you discount the season that he had and say he was hyped up, he ran a 43.4 and your gonna say he is all hype. Its very clear you dont know anything about track
@@tobiasfunke6351 Of course he was hurt...He was hurt after the race where Mr Fred Kerley beat him. And I know enough about track to know that you don' t recover from an athletics injury overnight . Mr. Norman should have sat out Worlds......kid !!
8:57 this man just hands his flowers to the handicapped woman in the audience, he is so respectful. A fantastic athlete and person.
I am a very Big Fan of Mike Norman Jr. I hope Mike will be the champion in the 200m and 400m in Tokyo, 2020 (now 2021).
Not the 200. Noah lyles is our best 200 meter runner. 400 yes.
I think 400 but van nieker is a beast and 200 no lyle's de grase and gemili are gonna beat him

Tegan McKechnie yep
Cherry is always faster in relays than he is in individual races I’d pick him over ibo
Michael Norman, the next opponent of Wayde Van Niekerk
Fight On!!
Great video. The Hawaii 5 O music was totally unnecessary
Bloomfield is thiccc

i was thinking the same thing, man, he is in every race, just some tweaks here and there and hell be alright
Van neikerk was missing throughout the season, hence the young ones

Lester Orie what happened to him? in the past and in this race? it was sad to see him disregarded so quickly but that's what commentators gotta do

Keep the video, ditch the music.
Imagine if Warholm started to compete at the 400m event. These guys would struggle to keep ut with him.
Nope
Oh 2rd handsome man. I like him
Wayde Van Niekerk can't be beat, literally none of these athletes were within the 43 second mark, not to mention Niekerk was almost sub 43!
