It is best to heat the glue to remove the lens by baking the headlight. When I but the lens off I follow the lip on the housing. This method would be harder if you intend to put the lens back on the light.
Don't really get the point of this video. It basically shows how to trash a headlamp unit when all we really want to know is how to remove the plastic lens, dry and clean out any dirt and condensation and refit the lens.
