Very true! However I don't think the father lived much longer after the creature left.
Of course it's ruthless.
If you're a hitman, or just a thief in general, you don't leave anyone alive for them to be able to either: call you out by name if they know you at all. Or be able to give a discription of what you look like to anyone investigating.

Well you wanted an explanation for the thumbs down so here's why. The home invasion during the holiday season has been done before and even though this is clearly supposed to be just a little short flick I can't help but ask, what makes this different from the others? Time and time again we see people reuse already existing stories but throw in their own little spice that makes their work of art stand out from the original. Sometimes in positive ways and unfortunately sometimes in negative ways. Again I do understand that this is just supposed to be a small bite of entertainment and to be fair the twist at the end was a nice touch. The pacing is pretty solid too, or as good as a 2 minute video can be. All around it's definitely not "bad" but it does lack that unique flavor that makes it stand out from other works similar to this. Well, I said my peace. All that's left to say is merry Christmas and have a fantastic new year!
