    You're the man! I love quick no bullshit videos that get straight to the point. I bought a Honda Elite 80 with 1500 miles and I've already put on 2000 miles. I love it and yes I did change the oil twice but I forgot both times how to do it so that's why I checked your video out. Thanks man!

    Thank you for all your time and effort you put into sharing your life with us! Your videos always brighten my day. I ride a Suzuki dr650 now but am soon getting a maxi scooter. I just love cruising around the country side at 45-50 mph. The 400 berg would suit my needs much better. I didn’t even know about them til I found your channel. Thanks again for all the knowledge you share. Have a great day.

    Cool scooter! I had an opportunity to buy an Elite 80 with low miles, and the price was fair, but I hesitated and someone else bought it. I think Honda sold a lot of them so something else will come up for sale.

    Thanks for showing use of a torque wrench on a drain plug, a must that is never done in a quickie oil change place. And I'll stop using spit to lube my O-Ring.

    I want to get my moped registered but the vin under the floor panel (which is the dumbest place for it) is corroded and missing numbers. What can I do? There has to be another place where the vin is. or can i contact honda to get the missing numbers? Cant get any help. I didnt even think of that when i bought it and it runs great. I just changed the oil and rode it.

    I changed the oil on my elite now the oil light is red ? It’s the correct oil and amount any idea why ? It was green before I changed it

    • @tommyboit9494
      @tommyboit9494 4 года назад +1

      You have to put the key in a little slot underneath the sensor you pushed inwards and it changes the sensor from Red to Green. It will pop every 1000 miles back to Red telling you to change the oil

    On 2 strokes there’s no oil filter? And also how often do you have to top off oil because 2 strokes mix oil and gas together right?

    • @MitchsScooterStuff
      @MitchsScooterStuff  3 года назад

      2 stroke use two cycle oil, it doesn't have engine oil at all... on scooter it has red light on the dash will come on to tell you to pour 2 stroke oil in the tank... some people put bigger bore on the scooter that oil pump can't handle then they have to mix with gas and two cycle oil together and pour in the gas tank... this scooter Honda Elite 80 is four stroke that has engine oil, oil filter...

    Why didn't you recommend installing a magnetic oil drain plug? Especially without any oil filter anyone knowing they exist would have the sense to believe a simple magnetic oil drain plug could possibly prevent catastrophic engine damage. So much so that it's hard to believe manufacturers would build their motor cycles exclusively using magnetic oil drain plugs.. car as well, even with oil filters it seems smart. (Wise)
