I don’t know if I can necessarily agree with this. Before I came to Christ I had demons inside of me and this is especially true because of the lifestyle I was living. When I gave my life to Christ that same day I had a demon casted out of me where I literally manifested and was on the floor yelling at the top of my lungs and convulsing, right after that the pastor placed her hands on me and I was baptized with the Holy Spirit through the laying of hands. After a month I was listening to a pastor praying online and I began to manifest in my home and I was delivered from over 20 demons that night. I literally felt them coming out of my body and God is my witness. I was in shock that this happened. This topic can be tough, and tbh I only disagree because of my experience. But thank the Lord Jesus I’ve been set free.

After I got saved, I was baptized by the Holy Spirit, and then went through a period of sanctification. I was delivered from lots of demons over a period of time, as I continued to get cleaned up. Demons cannot dwell in the soul. They are in the soul (which is not born again. Only the Spirit is.) If the bible, there were creepy crawlies and abominations in the temple behind the walls. They just couldn't be in the Holy of Holies. Jesus literally spoke to Satan in his disciple (Peter?). His disciple was a believer! And yet he was oppressed and the devil was acting through him. Sin us an open door to demons, even in believers. Born again spirits are perfect. The soul and body need to be sanctified.
Funny how only Christians of certain denominations can be demon possessed. It sounds like you were a member of a charismatic church. Lots of demons get cast out in those denominations, for some reason… 🤔
Drug addiction is a terrible thing, my brother is addicted to meth for years now and he lost everything but thankfully has found supportive housing. Its sad too because he was very close to God but made some unwise choices. I pray that your daughter makes the right choice
I told someone in church I was feeling this fear and they tried to cast a demon out of me. I ran out crying all the way home. I prayed about it and those specific people ended up leaving the church. Demon is not being redeemed? What does “redeem” mean in that statement? Did you mean we are not being redeemed from the demon as we are being redeemed from sin and sickness. Please explain further.
I also would like to add, Jesus spoke about old and new wine being placed into new bottles. Luke 5:37-39, Matt 9:17, Mark 2:22. When we are saved, then born again, if the person was saved, delivered from the demon, then goes thru the transformation of being born again, the Saved Christian could not be possessed by the demon, because they are now a new creation or bottle, a vessel belonging to the Lord...Thus, old wine(demon) can't be put into a new bottle, a new creation in Christ Jesus.
I believed in God since I was young since I grew up in the church. Around the age of 20 I asked God every day to feel his Holy Spirit, and one night while I was reading my bible I felt God's presence for the first time and I spoke in tongues. At age 25 I went to a women's retreat and when they asked who wanted to be baptized I felt the Holy Spirit so strong to raise my hand, that evening before my baptism I felt the deepest love and the Lords presence. Getting baptized was one of the greatest days of my life! I have drifted throughout my walk with Lord but never lost my faith and connection with him. I'm 34 and for the past 6 months I've recommitted myself to God's word, daily surrender in my prayers, and living for him. I felt something in my inner being that opposed God but believed strongly it could not be a demon since I'm saved with the Holy Spirit. I continued praying and asking God to bring anything in me that opposed him to the light believing it was my flesh. When I was praying one evening I could feel the feeling again in my stomach and neck (stiffness) I told my husband and then a demon manifested in me. I ended up getting deliverance through a deliverance ministry at a church. I share this because I needed deliverance and many things were brought out of me and into the light that I had no idea were there. I am on a journey to learn the truth biblically and I appreciate you taking the time in the video to share your biblical insights. My personal experience is now that a saved person can be demon-possessed since I believe I am saved and I have felt both being delivered from a demon and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit before that.
When we walk outside the will of God, being unrepentant, the presence of God cannot dwell within us. So during a backslidden state, you no longer have the Holy Spirit. And yes, the Holy Spirit will leave and there are several Scriptures to validate this. You must repent, and do your first works over again.

About a month ago I felt really down and was struggling so I sat down to find all the bible verses that talked about the joy of the Lord and as I read I literally felt something jump off of my shoulder and my mood completely lifted and my mood was completely turned around! It was wild!

Thank you so much for this! I suffer from anxiety and used to have panic attacks. I was desperate and reached out to a Christian group who said they could help. I was told medication is evil and I should try to come off it I was also told I had several demons in me. This filled me with intense fear and panic as I was praying to get set free but the anxiety was getting worse the more I was fighting. I was told if I didn’t carry on with fighting to get the demons out and resisting the devil the anxiety could last my entire life or go and then come back worse. Obviously this filled me with even more anxiety. Thankfully I got the courage up to speak to my pastor who has known me since my childhood he was horrified that I would be told that and walked me through the scriptures. This teaching has caused the anxiety to last longer than it needed to. Now I am learning not to fight anxiety as it’s just my God given alarm system misfiring, it’s not evil! I didn’t believe it until I watched a mass deliverance video and I started manifesting wildly. I was trembling and they were talking and screaming through me. I had 6 demons cast out of me after that. Then 4 more demons later on. I was a born again tongues speaking Christian at both deliverances. Yeah, it’s possible. Nobody can convince me Christians can’t be demonized.

Biblical koine Greek does NOT differentiate between "possession" and "oppression" -- the word is best translated "demonized." Notice that the English word "possession" implies ownership, and the Devil owns absolutely nothing -- including people who have sworn an oath to ol' slewfoot. Thus, a demon can inhabit a believer's body or soul, but not one's born-again spirit. It's no different than a believer with physical or mental illness -- those things happen despite Holy Spirit indwelling the believer.
I’m constantly at battle with this myself. This teaching helps me understand why I have anxiety and just because I have anxiety doesn’t mean I have a demon inhabiting me. I also live by the scripture Greater is he that is in me than he is in the world (1John 4:4) which helps relieve my anxious thoughts. I been delivered and baptized now for 3 years been serving God since I accepted him in my heart. The attacks may come from me trying to be better than I was before smh. But thankfully I made right with God through the Glorious Lord Jesus (Roman 10:9) ❤

Basically, some who claim to be christian aren't really a christian. That's what it boils down to. Because some "christians" do have demons and need deliverance from them. We all need deliverance at one point in our lives, and a lot of christians don't believe in deliverance ministry. Love your work!!!
QUESTION: Thank you for this teaching. But I am left with a question. I have been born again 20+ years but have had demonic attacks during my sleep until very recently the Holy Spirit delivered me through self deliverance about 2 weeks ago now. I had been reading aloud prayers from John Ramirez’s book Fire Prayers and on 2 separate nights prior I had dreams that I was delivering myself from a demon and then I would wake up and nothing happened until I was having some particularly demonic dreams and then I woke up and the Holy Spirit used my mouth to speak to a demon that I would say was inside of me and I (or more accurately I should say the Holy Spirit through me) was having a conversation with this evil spirit (it didn’t last long) and once Holy Spirit told the evil spirit to leave and it left, I let out an unnatural cry and it was like I could physically feel it left. How is this possible?
God has called me to translate and interpret the Gospels in a way that will speak to worldly unbelievers and believers alike in a profound way, I have learned not to go into too much detail about this calling that was gifted to and received by me because I don't quite have the right words to explain it yet, and other humans are (usually) quick to jump to conclusions about who I am and why it's wrong (it's not wrong, God won't let me forget it now). I say this, because I don't believe in coincidences anymore, and this is seemingly quite the coincidence that I just yesterday shared my plans on a Christian forum (that was a mistake), and then the next day, I have you not only translating the Greek word for demonized, but you are also sharing the resources so that we can seek the source material out ourselves... God set this up, there is no doubt in my mind... Would you ever care to chat sometime? I think God might have something that he wants you to say to me, or guidance to help me on this mission.. That's not speaking about a demon coming out of a believer at all. It's speaking about if a non believer has a demon cast out and does not come to Christ so they are filled with the Holy Spirit and sealed, then they will become seven times worse than before. So you don't cast demons out of anyone unless they are ready to surrender to Christ. Since attacks are part of the life of a believer, Jesus commanded us to submit to God resist the devil and he will flee. As we grow on faith we learn to deny ourselves and put on the whole armor of God so we can withstand against the schemes of the devil. The one to believe above anyone is Jesus.

I don't think that Judas loved Jesus. He's an example of someone who knows who God is but chooses to live for themselves. Anyhow, I just got home from a bible study. Upon conversation, I told the group that I was going to the services that David is hosting in Orlando, FL. The lady leading the group told me to be careful about "these preachers". Which is understandable. But when I tried to explain how David's doctrine & ministry are biblicaly sound, She went on to "warn" me again & again. I started to get annoyed at that point. I ended the conversation by telling her that I know what I'm doing. Why do Christians have such a hard time believe that God, in all of His glory, is still in the business of healing and delivering ppl?? They doubt so much and their faith is so limited. It angers me to an extent.They put God in a box and they look down on things that Jesus LITERALLY did.. as if he's not still working. But then they say that they believe the gospel. HOW?? Anyway, I rarely talk about deliverance and that's the reason why. I wish that some Christians weren't so blind.

I had 6 demons cast out of me after that. Then 4 more demons later on. I was a born again tongues speaking Christian at both deliverances. Yeah, it’s possible. Nobody can convince me Christians can’t be demonized.
I under attack of Beelzebub and I'm christian with wiling heart to God and commands of Jesus and I so love his name and God name and what he did and do in my life and other life's but I still got attacks from demons it's battle not against body and blood guys keep strong in Jesus and turn back from darkness and do what is righteous Lord will help us to do it BECASE he sended his son to help and set us free to do good to each other's. Biblical koine Greek does NOT differentiate between "possession" and "oppression" -- the word is best translated "demonized."
Notice that the English word "possession" implies ownership, and the Devil owns absolutely nothing -- including people who have sworn an oath to ol' slewfoot. Thus, a demon can inhabit a believer's body or soul, but not one's born-again spirit.
It's no different than a believer with physical or mental illness -- those things happen despite Holy Spirit indwelling the believer.

I’m constantly at battle with this myself. This teaching helps me understand why I have anxiety and just because I have anxiety doesn’t mean I have a demon inhabiting me. I also live by the scripture Greater is he that is in me than he is in the world (1John 4:4) which helps relieve my anxious thoughts. I been delivered and baptized now for 3 years been serving God since I accepted him in my heart. The attacks may come from me trying to be better than I was before smh. But thankfully I made right with God through the Glorious Lord Jesus (Roman 10:9) ❤

Basically, some who claim to be christian aren't really a christian. That's what it boils down to. Because some "christians" do have demons and need deliverance from them. QUESTION: Thank you for this teaching. But I am left with a question. I have been born again 20+ years but have had demonic attacks during my sleep until very recently the Holy Spirit delivered me through self deliverance about 2 weeks ago now. I had been reading aloud prayers from John Ramirez’s book Fire Prayers and on 2 separate nights prior I had dreams that I was delivering myself from a demon and then I would wake up and nothing happened until I was having some particularly demonic dreams and then I woke up and the Holy Spirit used my mouth to speak to a demon that I would say was inside of me and I (or more accurately I should say the Holy Spirit through me) was having a conversation with this evil spirit (it didn’t last long) and once Holy Spirit told the evil spirit to leave and it left, I let out an unnatural cry and it was like I could physically feel it left. How is this possible?

God has called me to translate and interpret the Gospels in a way that will speak to worldly unbelievers and believers alike in a profound way, I have learned not to go into too much detail about this calling that was gifted to and received by me because I don't quite have the right words to explain it yet, and other humans are (usually) quick to jump to conclusions about who I am and why it's wrong (it's not wrong, God won't let me forget it now).

That's not speaking about a demon coming out of a believer at all. It's speaking about if a non believer has a demon cast out and does not come to Christ so they are filled with the Holy Spirit and sealed, then they will become seven times worse than before. So you don't cast demons out of anyone unless they are ready to surrender to Christ. Since attacks are part of the life of a believer, Jesus commanded us to submit to God resist the devil and he will flee. As we grow on faith we learn to deny ourselves and put on the whole armor of God so we can withstand against the schemes of the devil. The one to believe above anyone is Jesus.

I don't think that Judas loved Jesus. He's an example of someone who knows who God is but chooses to live for themselves.
Anyhow, I just got home from a bible study. Upon conversation, I told the group that I was going to the services that David is hosting in Orlando, FL. The lady leading the group told me to be careful about "these preachers". Which is understandable.
But when I tried to explain how David's doctrine & ministry are biblicaly sound, She went on to "warn" me again & again. I started to get annoyed at that point. I ended the conversation by telling her that I know what I'm doing.
Why do Christians have such a hard time believe that God, in all of His glory, is still in the business of healing and delivering ppl?? They doubt so much and their faith is so limited. It angers me to an extent.They put God in a box and they look down on things that Jesus LITERALLY did.. as if he's not still working. But then they say that they believe the gospel. HOW??
Anyway, I rarely talk about deliverance and that's the reason why. I wish that some Christians weren't so blind.
