You can eat the fuzzy kiwi skin, it tastes fine and isn't as 'hairy' feeling as one might expect. Once I learned that and actually ate a kiwi with the skin, I never went back to peeling the skin off.
They're also known as hardy kiwi. I have a vine in Michigan that's never produced fruit because it dies back to the ground every year and doesn't start growing again until June.
Just saw those for the very first time (same brand) in my local grocery store, but I didn't buy them because they were $5 or $6 for the same sized box! But I may have to try them now.

I think the skins usually taste a lot more sour. I think they’re fine with the skin, but even tastier peeled.
I have the prolific variety. It has yet to produce fruit but i cant wait to try them.
