We used the black rockers to control lights on the light bar, but some agencies used it as a brake light kill switch. The mechanics were good at rewiring stuff like that.
They control the lighting functions. The switch I used to control the horn ring is the equivalent of the RLS on the Touchmaster. They release the gun lock but instead I use it for the siren.
@@BlackieFoxxless I literally own the siren. It isn’t programmable like the Motorola. The Motorola uses a software to program. So no, it is NOT programmable.

It’s amazing the stuff you find in the back of the building........
Gonna be missing the sounds of FedSig Unitrol 80k sirens that Portland Police Bureau had used for few decades.
Thought they still used them (or at least the tones)? I know the newer federal signal products can still use unitrol tones
@@chrisphilipson8609PPB currently use the Whelen CenCom with turn knobs with that distinct siren sounds slightly derived from the FedSig Unitrol 80k.
@@StarK12trdcencom core with the alt tones?
Wow! I hear these in alot of shows! Even fire trucks can have it too
San Francisco PD still uses these .
Yep! I live near San Francisco and heard some of the Ford Explorers use it.
Where did you found it?
What do the top black and white switches do? Are they just auxiliary switches or do they have something to do with the siren?

@@sirendude Oh, ok thank you.
Very cool!
That hi-lo was cursed
What do you mean?
Why did it kinda sound like an fdny rig at the beginning
Federal Signal PA-200 and PA-300
Can it be programmed to only have hi-lo and yelp?
No. This siren is not programmable.
@@sirendude if you can do it to Motorola spectra, then you can do it to this one too
@@sirendude so YES, it IS programmable

@@sirendude but it CAN be changed to only hi-lo and yelp by having the wail disabled
Can you do it with a speaker?
It already is hooked up to one.
@@sirendude but It sounds like a toy hahaha, i mean It has not the sound power of other sirens.
How can It be? :v
@@maxter_paradise Probably it was the angle I recorded at. Plus the speaker was pretty far so that was probably why? It’s pretty loud in person.
@@sirendude oh, that could be the reason, thanks for replying me
