*I have used it a lot.I mostly wade fish in creeks while using this,so it has been accidentally dunked under water many times with no problems **allabout.wiki/nrdb** . The drag is super smooth and I never worry about line tangling up.I use 4 to 6 pound line for Smallmouth bass,and regularly catch big Drum (attached photo) on it.The drag has never caused a line break,even when these big fish make fast runs.Highley recommend.*

I think you did a very good job explaining the Avenger osvaldocardoso9316. I could be wrong but it seems this guy is unfamiliar with this product as he's reading stats. I was attracted to the title of this video & his monicker as i'm a local guy from Hawaii who married a redhead from Maine. I fished the logger trails there near Mexico, ME & fished for Bluefish off the coast for +4 weeks. I was hoping for more. What i don't like here is the person who made this video hasn't answered any questions posted to his video. I guess he has his reasons.

Nice review I have a older av 15 that has been a great reel. I just bought the 3000 avenger . I have many shimano siennas that are good cheap reel. Looking to try a Diana laguna reel too.

Will it work with braided line?

Yes it will. Doesn't have a knurled spool so put on some tape before spooling. Using braid will give you a lot more yardage.
