"WASHINGTON (AP) - A growing chorus of Democratic lawmakers called Friday for President Joe Biden to drop his reelection bid, even as the president insisted he’s ready to return to the campaign trail next week to counter what he called a “dark vision” laid out by Republican Donald Trump.
As more Democratic members of Congress called for him to drop out Friday - bringing the total since his disastrous debate against Trump to more than 30 - Biden remained isolated at his beach house in Delaware after being diagnosed with COVID-19. The president, who has insisted he can beat Trump, was huddling with family and relying on a few longtime aides as he resisted efforts to shove him aside."

When my mother was his age, 81, she was exactly like him : slurred speech, mumbling, memory loss , stiff walk, confusion. She had been diagnosed with Lewy body dementia, the third most common form of dementia. Like him, she was stubborn and insisted she was still on the ball. I'm sure this is what Biden has. This only gets worse, folks, those brain cells don't come back. By 84 she was creeping around drooling, screaming, and bat sh*** crazy. It was hard to take care of her. Maybe he can finish out his term, but that's it. But 4 more years? As they say in NYC : "FUGGETABOUTIT! " He's got to GO. However the prospect of another Gump presidency is horrifying. They've somehow got to get the old man to quit and then choose someone else a.s.a.p.

Austria has the 2nd least abortions per person (even though it is legal there) because contraception is widely available. Ohio person here and I have always voted for Sherrod Brown. In high school, I chose to work for his campaign for my AP Government credits. If Sherrod Brown did not ask Biden to step down, I planned to write in uncommitted. We can't say we are the party of Democracy and stand by watching people hold on to power when they can no longer serve and many people have protested their time in office. Happy to see Sherrod Brown publicly say something. He has my vote!
If you didn't vote in the primaries, you lost your chance to have a say, in my opinion. If you did and your person didn't win, then I guess you lost. People will say that there was no primary, but that is crap. Cenk was in the primaries and he got basically no voters. I know Biden can serve because he is currently serving and running for president at the same time. His current and future policies state that he can and will help all Americans.
