Usually I'll watch this type of product endorsement and think 'how much did they get paid for that...'. However, in this case, knowing you worked in A&E and have first hand knowledge this throws a completely different light on it. Great stuff guys, I'm off to look online for neck braces. Thanks for sharing.
I rally appreciated this video. I appreciated it because I didn't really understand what I was seeing when I saw others using one of these. I really appreciated it because the explanation came from someone with professional experience of physiology and how it applies to the motorcycle rider. Finally, I really appreciated it because you are not fooled by the branded overpricing of these products and are prepared to say so. That speaks volumes to me about your common sense and integrity. Well done, great video. Thank you!
+Michael Dignum not yet mate, but I plan on purchasing one very soon for all the touring we are doing and will review it too. Amazing piece of kit and a few friends have them so watch out for the review ;)
Is a very important equipment, but if it is poorly regulated it can be more dangerous as if we did not take it, this was said by the doctor who manufactures the LEATT!! Every neck is different lol! Thanks for sharing.
I have been riding with a leatt brace for 7 years now, never really needed it. Any side mounted helmet gear (cameras etc, which I don't use) could be in the way so beware of that. There is a downside, every biker looks at you like you are from another planet.
vriendelijkegroet Its a bit of a mission of mine to get more people to use these. I have had no issue with any helmet equipment getting in the way. Perhaps I'm lucky. Safe riding.
We must be from a superior planet..... better have it and not need it, than to have needed it and not have it. Let them look, and it might just make them think a little deeper, deep enough to do some research and learn the benefits. I’m old enough to remember when seatbelts were make compulsory in the U.K. sometimes change and acceptance is slow.... so don’t worry about what Mr or Mrs Smith are doing..... stay safe and ride safe

+Sérgio André good point matey :)
Thanks guys, very interesting topic and food for thought. Cheers, Andy
+Andrew Tofts glad you enjoyed it :)
Maybe I am missing something but Leatt braces on Amazon are £400 - 550 - the replacement foam is $60!
+Andrew Boundy not sure about that one matey, but mark swears by his neck brace :)
+Andrew Boundy strange that the replacement foam is so cheap!
Do these sit over the top of the leathers or go down inside (obviously I'm asking about the back plate)
Love your videos, but you really need to get some better sound guys 😁👍
