Right. Those are not real vampires, just people dressing up and having fun. Actual vampires are absolutely terrifying. They feed not only on human flesh and blood but also on the human life force, your spirit essence. They can suck out your soul and utterly, completely annihilate you. They can read your thoughts, and control your mind. They create terrifying illusions that seem to defy reality itself in the minds of their victims, or people who try to investigate them. They can travel outside their bodies, and possess people, or animals, or even machines and inanimate objects. They drive people mad and make them jump off of buildings and crash their cars. Then they swarm around and feed on the escaping life force. They are invisible, and almost invincible. They use black magic to conceal themselves and their activities. Everything they do is simply unseen and inaccessable to the human world, like a privacy setting. They look just like ordinary people until right before they kill you. Then they become very scary looking. They look kind of like those weird demon creatures in old Japanese paintings from the middle ages They are possessed people. Theyre half human half demon monsters.
I was legit in the Vampire Society in the 90s. I only joined to get laid 😂. The majority of people just loved having drinks, walking graveyards. Many had permanent fans. There was nothing satanic that I witnessed. Only a minority were into biting and drinking blood. A couple of odd balls. Most were just goths, chilling and enjoying the lore.
I’m calling cap on tens of thousands. I live about 40 miles from Dayton and I have to say that it’s extremely hard to hide the existence of a group that large.
I remember all of this in the 1990's early 2000's ... until it came to a head. One of my oldest brothers friends lost his mind; consumed his girlfriend the deleted from a hotel roof ... My brother was devastated and his French Quarter drinking buddies slowly started giving up the Masquerade...
Agreed. Also from Dayton. I’m usually not one to stereotype or put people in a categorical box but all those people that were claiming to be vampires were people that were bullied in school and not paid any attention to at home. Most of them came from wealthy suburbs, had access to their family money and secured “friendships” with said monies. I will say though, I worked for a youth crisis/shelter that occupies the building the Asylum was in. All I can say is, working third shift was creepy and I totally believe in ghosts now. I absolutely NEVER went into the basement by myself at any time of day.
@@Jasmine.StarrzI'm sorry that's messed up and it really frustrates me the fact that this stuff happens and people always throw the 'Satanic Panic' label on it and brush it under the rug.
I lived in Columbus, OH from 1994-1998 while attending Ohio State and there was quite the gothic/vampire subculture there, mostly high school and university students, but some were in their 30s and 40s. Many hung out at Insomnia Coffeehouse (which I also frequented, though I wasn't goth, nor vampire) on High St across the street from the old Ohio Union building at OSU and at Outlands bar. Most were "Vampire the Masquerade" LARPers, but some did actual bloodletting and blooddrinking and thought that it would gave them super dooper special powers and would even make them immortal. SMH. I have seen many of them on FB and they're aging as one would expect. Haha! So much for becoming immortal or drinking blood giving them perpetual youthful rejuvenation. Who'd have thunk that they'd age? LOL. Anyways, when raving overtook the goth subculture as the new "alternative" youth subculture in the mid-late 1990s, most of the goths and vampires became ravers. Just shows how they were just following one youth subculture to the next when a new one arose.
Ohio? Hmm I don’t know. Although if Cleveland actually paid more attention to crime and violence rates - there’s likely been a SK stalking the Cleveland metro for years. Multiple perhaps. Especially the East Side. No one cares about those folks tho. It’s like 90% black over there and poor. But Ohio isn’t what I think when I think SK. Washington state and Oregon, though……SK central up to this day.. going back decades.

No these people are being ridiculous. The documentary is about the murder of my friend Phil Gall and they barely gave him a footnote. They're uninformed clowns. Making a mockery of it with all the vampire bullshit. The truth is horrifying.

I can’t wait to see the Netflix series
Netflix says they aren't going to air it. They emailed family members of Phil Gall. Gave no reason.
So can we bring back true blood on HBO like part 2. Omg loved that show
The books are so much better!
I like vampires as dramatic metaphors in movies, but the thought
