Vera pauw was sacked because of player power which shld never be the case . These players think they are entitled katie was the ringleader. She was the worst player she didn't perform she scored a fluke of a goal n ppl wer raving about her. The best players that performed wer Sinead farrelly n Kyra carusa . Louise quinn was fantastic at the back a stalwart . The worry now wld be for this team the next manager they bring in ? Will it be a step backwards or forwards they have to get it right . Vera got ireland's women's team to a first major tournament a world cup she gets the sack 😳. The ppl in charge of irish football haven't a clue its like an amateur organisation it's crazy imagine the English fa doing what these ppl are doing to our football there would be uproar etc that's putting it mildy it just wouldn't be accepted. Unfortunately here in ireland we accept mediocrity from Ireland football. Rugby for me nowadays 😂. The Ireland rugby team are ambitious looking to win the 🏉. Vera sucked. Who plays 5 people at back in a game where it doesn’t matter if you lose. Also extremely unprofessional to tell the press exactly what Katie said in the locker room. No good manager throws their captain under the bus like that. This team was way more talented than she ever gave them credit for. Calling her a bad attitude and saying she scored a fluke of a goal doesn’t make Vera a better coach btw.
