Absolute perfect landing. You can see that the pilot is everytime staying on a good vertical profile. And the Flare. WOW! Many pilots are "overflaring" the aircraft but in this video the flare is genius!
This is the best flitesim:) Excellent scenery:) You have the usually best flite vids here:) Only things I miss the cockpit instruments - but its just my opinion:) Ciao
@WENGERGOONER Yeah, but videomaker could show, what speed was in landing process, what altitude was when began landing and also some other parameters of landing process.
Tolles Video! 5*
i live 3 blocks from my nearest international airport and the runway and the runway too is facing me and i live in the 5th floor i can see the runway and planes landing soo cool and i like runway lights at night hehe
This is one of my favorite aviation videos as it gives the student a good chance to observe the landing system of lights. Unfortunately the color isn't as strong as it would be in your shot the video in HD
+Mirandorl The centre lights are slightly raised so placing them offside the centre line prevents them being run over and causing lots of bumps as an aircraft rolls out after landing. Where runways have the lights down the centreline it is common for pilots to aim slightly left or right of the line to avoid the lights.
much flatter glide slope than I can achieve with hang glider (unless I have a strong tail wind, in which case I must get turned into the wind to land anyhow) !
+flythetube True but it must have done a turn and circled since it wasn't approaching the Airport from the East side, I can tell by the Video cos the Airport's on the left as the Plane is coming in.
look. its clear that this is a lufthansa flight from germany the pilots accents and the route it took to dublin. the route from frankfurt to dublin takes you over birmingham. my guess is they probably turned and headed over drogheda to line up with 10
...lights all the way...city lights...approach...glide slope...indicators....runways....taxiways...to final 'park' and 'cut engines'... way more lites than a hang glider!
here's a trick.. place your mouse cursor (pointy finger) on where you think the centre line of the runway is. then. leave it until the end of the clip and see where you end up. i forgot to mention, start from ;36.
Absolute perfect landing. You can see that the pilot is everytime staying on a good vertical profile. And the Flare. WOW! Many pilots are "overflaring" the aircraft but in this video the flare is genius!
you hit the mark perfectly on the landing. cant get any better.
Beautiful landing in a beautiful city!
It looks so amazingly slow and graceful but I know they're moving fast! Great!!
Are they dropping coins into the meter ?
awesome , the aviation surprises me a little more every day , beautiful approach , and great landing ..Dublin is really awesome
Fantastic, amazing night view of the city and great landing. Big Super Like!!!
I wish i was a pilot....this is brilliant,thanks for posting..
I completely agree to what Flythetube said..No Music Makes it look like you are almost in the Cockpit..Good Job and please add more. Best Wishes...
Wonderful video, I love these sparkling lights in the night!
Beautiful landing, view!!!!!!!! Congrats!!
tht was awesome...thnks so much for uploading it...
GOOD CALL-OUTS, NICE TRANSITION, THE WEATHER LOOKS GOOD, THE CREWS DREAM.
This is the best flitesim:) Excellent scenery:) You have the usually best flite vids here:) Only things I miss the cockpit instruments - but its just my opinion:) Ciao
Speaking as the guy marshalling in the plane, it's a pleasure to actually see what the view is from the cockpit ...
what a fabulous video ... great landing too
nice vid, like the sound of the trim wheels, better than music, trim wheels are music !!
"well, it must have been a very clear night that day" Roger to that, and thanks for sharing!
Not Ryanair. They don't park at Area B in Terminal 1 at Dublin, which is where this plane parked
its lufthansa
Mind telling us what type of equipment they are flying
@WENGERGOONER Yeah, but videomaker could show, what speed was in landing process, what altitude was when began landing and also some other parameters of landing process.
Best Video on RUclips.
Tolles Video! Endlich mal ein approach mit vollständigem taxi zum gate. Klasse!

Do landing gear wheels ever damage the lights on the runways and taxiways?
What plane was that?
Which airplane is this??? I'm a pilot student and never seen those ground announcements before "900 remaining", "approaching 34"
Perfect landing. So nice.
How did u flim these?
why some of the part of the video is muted?
i live 3 blocks from my nearest international airport and the runway and the runway too is facing me and i live in the 5th floor i can see the runway and planes landing soo cool and i like runway lights at night hehe
Nice city at night scenery!
Awesome video mate...
what a fantastic vid...great upload!!
Its a boeing of some sort judging by the sound of the trim and the callout of flaps being 15 and 30 rather than 3 and 4 for an airbus.
is it hard to do night hard to do night approaches with all the city lights
Captain, is this a 737NG or 738 Series? May i ask what is the difference between NG and the normal 737's.
WHAT VERSION OF FLIGHTSIM IS THIS??
is that a dash 8
This is one of my favorite aviation videos as it gives the student a good chance to observe the landing system of lights. Unfortunately the color isn't as strong as it would be in your shot the video in HD
What type of A/C is this?
Well done guy, good video. keep the good work
Qual o tipo de aeronave ?
nice video and yes it is real iam from dublin i now the airport inside out
how do you balance the ceamra on the dash?
What aircraft are you flying?
PAPI, PALS, correct? was this manual or ILS? at 6:58, no need for ATC to clear the hold crossing?
Well, "normally" when a runway has ILS support the lights towards The end of thw RWY are yellow. So Id suggest that was manual.
The last 200´the PAPI gets unreliable. It´s very common to show more red low to the ground.
what aircraft is this 320 OR 737?
Very nice landing.
Awesome video thanks!!! what airline was it??
what airline was this?
Cool vid, great job.
very nice video with effets
Great Vid! I always wondering, how slow it looks at approach....
My guess is that its a boeing 737-300 from lufthansa, because of the old trim wheel and the RAAS;))
where?
excellent video ! Amazing when u consider it .
ILS Approaches are not necessarily automatic landings. If you don't have low visibility operation, most of the landings are flown manually.
it is REAL...not flight sim people...
Thanks for another GREAT video!
How come the centreline lights are slightly off to the left of the actual line?
+Mirandorl The centre lights are slightly raised so placing them offside the centre line prevents them being run over and causing lots of bumps as an aircraft rolls out after landing. Where runways have the lights down the centreline it is common for pilots to aim slightly left or right of the line to avoid the lights.
Looks so magical!! =D
Awesome video
Nice video, thank you very much !
good video of dublin airport
2 people think that the landing was bad....amazing vid
aircraft type?
Can anyone tell me what the '900 remaining' meant at 5:23 ?
Perfect job, ..
Was that a 767-400?
nice video
Americans should note that most European airports, large or small, do not have rotating beacons.
What's with all those bumps?
He's running over the center line embedded light. The stick up a bit from the runway.
The center-line lights.
MrNbond the centre lights are raised
Very cool! : )
lovely video
Surely this wasnt Alaskan airlines? Right? What airline was it?
Great video. I love Dublin Airport
Beautiful
Very nice . . .
much flatter glide slope than I can achieve with hang glider (unless I have a strong tail wind, in which case I must get turned into the wind to land anyhow) !
Lovely!
bist du ein deutscher Pilot ?? Irgendwie höre ich da deutsch
love dublin :)
totally agree music is usually loud and annoying
was this a flight from States?
it definitly approaching Dublin from the east, since it flew via England towards Ireland.
how could it have been from america. you can clearly see the uploader highlights birmingham and manchester
+flythetube Love these Videos. Thanks a million.
+flythetube True but it must have done a turn and circled since it wasn't approaching the Airport from the East side, I can tell by the Video cos the Airport's on the left as the Plane is coming in.

That was awesome, thanks!
Its the RAAS system telling them they have 900m remaining. Another call at 600m and then at 30m.
#ProudToBeIrish
i can see my house :)
So cool!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful :)
its its very very interesting interesting video video... well its dublin... get it.
This is the Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt that stays over night. Either a320 or a321
correct. but at the time of this video Lufthansa didn't use airbus aircraft to Dublin. but yes its the same flight
...lights all the way...city lights...approach...glide slope...indicators....runways....taxiways...to final 'park' and 'cut engines'...
way more lites than a hang glider!
See the orange light on the right hand side just as the plane comes over dublin? Well the bulb is gone in it now.
nice...
cool landing!!
Where are all the beer bottles?
@Aviationnation10
I do not think that it is airbus .. listen when the pilot land to the call of 30,20,10.....
Without words
here's a trick.. place your mouse cursor (pointy finger) on where you think the centre line of the runway is. then. leave it until the end of the clip and see where you end up. i forgot to mention, start from ;36.
I LOVE FLYING
brilliant
