  • This newborn baby lemur was abandoned and left to a friend by his mother Pam. Under ring tailed lemur Queen Crystal's command, Pam has her work cut out as a low-status female: she has been trying to keep her infant alive and stay out of trouble. As the gangs of ring-tailed lemurs in Madagascar's Berenty reserve face the mounting challenges of the dry season. One lemur gang leader Crystal is a good mother to son Tommy but as the fierce leader of the Ruins Gang, her reign of fear makes life hard for some of her subjects. Rival gang lemur queen Kati, leader of the ramshackle Museum Gang, has found a good food supply for her crew, but her battle-shy leadership style might put them all in danger.

    People need to understand that humans can’t intervene in the life of animals, we affect a whole chain if we do, those animals aren’t domesticated so we shouldn’t intervene in their lives or well be affecting them

    • @tonnipaillard6911
      @tonnipaillard6911 4 года назад +5

      But aren't we already effecting them very negatively in general? This only seems to be brought up when it's about saving animals. Not picking a fight, just saying, cheers.

      Tonni Paillard hmmm I agree, but if the animal was to be helped it would only benefit that animal and the others could be impacted negatively ( in this situation I don’t know much 😔), it depends a lot in the situation though. it’s okay! I believe we both have a point. 🤔

      @@mirayori7940 I understand that, and in this it does seem it would've affected them negatively too. I just wish all of us would be more careful to not affect the natural kingdom as negatively as we do.

    Humans should help any animal whenever we can because most wild species are on the brink of extinction, if we don't intervene then the tough pecking orders of animal groups will just reduce their genetic diversity that much faster.

      Hi Kandice. We thank you for your love and compassion toward the animals. Lemurs have evolved on the island of Madagascar for at least 40 million years, they have developed very strict social hierarchy and unique ways of survival. It is hard to justify humans intervening or prioritizing one (species of) animal over another in the wild. However, given our profound impact on wildlife, it is fitting that we help as many animals as possible on all aspects of conservation. Therefore, we feature wildlife conservation and rescue groups from all over the world, please feel free to check out our rescue stories on our channel. Thank you very much!
