Lin Shuijing, principal oboe of China National Symphony Orchestra Graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music as an undergraduate and from the Rostock Conservatory of Music in Germany as a graduate student. In 2021, she obtained the highest performer diploma (doctorate) with outstanding results. She has studied under Professor Zhang Dihe, Professor Zhu Dun, Professor Bai Yu, Professor Bai Peng and Professor Gregor Witt. She won the first place in the woodwind group of the 7th Mravinsky International Wind Music Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia, the first place in the oboe of the 12th National Wind Chamber Music Woodwind Solo Competition, and the third place in the 3rd MURI International Oboe Competition in Switzerland. Lin Shuijing was born in Beijing. She studied piano since childhood and started learning oboe at the age of 10. In 2006, she was admitted to the Affiliated Middle School of the Central Conservatory of Music with the first place. She was recommended to the Central Conservatory of Music in 2012. In the same year, she was selected into the "BOB" training program for outstanding innovative talents of the Central Conservatory of Music and obtained scholarship qualifications. In 2015, she won the first Central Conservatory of Music "Wahaha Chamber Music" scholarship. In 2016, he went to Germany for further studies under Professor Gregor Witt, the principal of the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin. In 2017, he was admitted to the North German Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2019, he was admitted to the Nuremberg State Opera. He was invited to serve as the principal guest oboe many times, and performed with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, etc., and participated in more than 100 symphony and opera performances. He joined the China Symphony Orchestra in 2022.
Lin Shuijing will join the China National Symphony Orchestra as the principal oboe in 2022. The oboe she plays was made by German oboe maker Ludwig Frank.
