    I have just released a FREE update to my Stylized Dynamic Sky asset on the Unreal Engine 5 marketplace. The pack now features stylized weather, such as rain, lightning, improved wind, overcast, and more.

    I’d love to see assets for Stylized buildings as I’m having a difficult time finding anything that looks like it belongs with your environments.

      Same here. There are no interior props or urban stylized buildings on the marketplace that match the quality of their props.

    Awesome! I was waiting for this ! I've bough instantly when you released just sky that time it was worth it, now it's even more worth it!
    Do you think you will make some day asset with modular stylized buildings with inazuma architecture ?

      Hm, I'm skeptical about "buildings" such as houses, bridges, etc. Even though it seems similar, it has a much more involved workflow. The main issue though is that there are actually a lot of good assets on the marketplace for that, some of which are even free! So I don't know if I'd be able to compete really.

    This is great! i think you are nailing the look of stylized genshin standard environments in unreal. Any chance you'll get into achieving the standards for characters in ue5 too?

      I don't think I'll ever get into characters personally, I find it extremely difficult and it ends up looking bad whenever I've tried :P

    Is it simple enough to call an event when the thunder strikes?

      There are two types of lighting, one which is a more distance particle system. I'm not sure if you can immediately call an event on a per-particle spawn basis? If not, you could change the system to spawn one at a time and just re-activate the system periodically, I may have to help explain on Discord or something.
      The other lightning is nearby and strikes the ground, which would be much easier to hook up any sort of logic to.

      Hm, that's an interesting consideration. I mean the short answer is yes, but it depends on how you want to do it.
      For example if you want the whole world as clear skies, but one area is always raining, that would be the easiest.
      If the whole world was weather cycles, and one area was always raining, that would be a little harder.
      It would mainly come down to creating volumes and triggering weather changes based on the timelines. You may need new events to transition out of weather earlier.

    Sandstorm, But i consider waiting to Christmas you might have a good idea by christmas.
    I wonder if it was possible to make a hurricane scene.
    But anyway, congratulations, I know you'll be earning more money in your pockets. Congratulations.
    You know the strangest thing. I have not seen one person make a hurricane weather system.
    I have seen the hurricane cloud in blender, but it has not been used in unreal and or has used the effects.
    It could be awesome to change its category level strength.

    That's a great asset! However, I just update the sky asset and the landscape does not have the rain parameters. I also update the Stylized Trees (tropical) after the sky and the sky blueprint became bad. In what asset the new rain parameters are added to the landscape?

      Vol 1 and Vol 2 should have already been updated to work with the weather system. The material functions like Rain Wetness should be in many master materials, and functions like Foliage Wind and Tree Sway have also been updated to handle the new wind

    Trying to use it in my project and the splashes aren't showing up. I was hoping for it to splash on my geometry (not landscape). I added the MF_RainWetness to my material but am I missing something?

      Which splashes do you mean, the particle splashes?
      Make sure on your sky, under weather, under rain, you have the checkbox to use the splash particles. Then the rain drops should spawn them upon collision with anything that blocks the Visibility channel.
      There was a bug with some of the systems on 5.4 but I fixed it and am waiting for it to be approved, but I don't think that bug is related to this.

      @@So_Stylized yea the particle splashes. I have it checked on but it doesn’t trigger any particle splashes when it hits the object

      I could but it would probably look terrible, VR generally has much tighter performance requirements that mean disabling most features and quality settings. At that point it would hardly resemble my intended designs.
