@@RickyIsaan i would say street food has also disappeared in Thailand too especially in Bangkok. Visiting after 10 years definitely huge changes. Now just in food markets. I think some councils in Australia have tried to encourage a street food like vibe but I'm sure regulations and licensing gets in the way. And its still relatively expensive. We prefer to cook at home.
Great idea with speaking English with the twins, they have enough Thai with their Thai grandmother, aunts and everyone else, so they’ll eventually be bilingual!

I miss my lil Po-tato every day (my son Russell who is 22 months old as of now), its hurts to know i am missing the best time in life when my son is less that 3 years old, before schooling starts. That's when bonds are made to last a lifetime. That's why i say i wish my life was more like yours. What i meant is that struggles have to be faced by everyone, but you have the ability to be with your twins everyday during the best years of having kids. I don't mean anything in a negative way, trust me your doing a better job than most of us dads. All i can do is shed tears sometimes watching your videos trying to think how my life would be if i also got to spend every day with my son and wife. Brigitte L Jones. You said you have a degree,. so you ought to be able to research a bit on topics relevant to your daughters. This time it's about "raising bilingual children". I'll give you 2 tips. EVERY PERSON HAS TO SPEAK IN THEIR NATIVE TONGUE TO THE TWINS. So they don't get a weird accent, the wrong grammar and are not incompetent sounding by imitating you speaking Thai or Thais speaking English. It's OK for them to hear people interacting with foreigners using whatever. Your fiancee needs to speak to the twins in Thai if focusing only on them. IT TAKES LONGER FOR BILINGUAL TODDLERS TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK, but it DOESN'T AFFECT THEIR RECEPTIVE UNDERSTANDING as that is much easier and learnt very early. This bit of delay in speaking is normal and apparently being bilingual has other cognitive advantages. By the way since you are a single parent of twins that are under 3yrs (even with shared care) and have enough money to scrape by, there should be no thought of you working any time soon.
The twins are your children and they are approaching learning phases so they need to be in the right environments for their development. Don’t feel bad about it Ricky!

Brigitte L Jones. You said you have a degree,. so you ought to be able to research a bit on topics relevant to your daughters. This time it's about "raising bilingual children". I'll give you 2 tips. EVERY PERSON HAS TO SPEAK IN THEIR NATIVE TONGUE TO THE TWINS. So they don't get a weird accent, the wrong grammar and are not incompetent sounding by imitating you speaking Thai or Thais speaking English. It's OK for them to hear people interacting with foreigners using whatever. Your fiancee needs to speak to the twins in Thai if focusing only on them. IT TAKES LONGER FOR BILINGUAL TODDLERS TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK, but it DOESN'T AFFECT THEIR RECEPTIVE UNDERSTANDING as that is much easier and learnt very early. This bit of delay in speaking is normal and apparently being bilingual has other cognitive advantages. By the way since you are a single parent of twins that are under 3yrs (even with shared care) and have enough money to scrape by, there should be no thought of you working any time soon.

It had to come good after all the sh*t you’ve been thru mate. I think you getting married again has settled your life down immeasurably. Stable family life (not just for the girls, but for you too) must have put a lot of your fears to bed. Keep pushing those weights too, it helps enormously with mental health.
