- With a new Number One album "Human" Three Days Grace has picked themselves up after the 2013 split of singer Adam Gontier, and they were asked if the split was expected and how they recovered.
No disrespect, but Matt ain't got shit on Adam.

It's not just the singing either Matt has a decent voice but Brad Neil and Adam go way back to like'92 so there are probably some old rivalries. Adam would have been one the 10 best looking guys in the area as a teenager I wouldn't swoon over him like Chris Davis but he was at least as nice looking as my boyfriend he didn't have the full Elvis like him but he's a tall blonde with piercing blue eyes which I am sure contributed to his allure as a frontman and Neil might have envied all the female attention he got. Look at Adam in his early thirties he was gorgeous Matt is not ugly or anything but I don't think he is even as cute as Brad so Neil probably feels less threatened by Matt. Neil has started styling his hair and dressing better since Adam left probably didn't even want to try and compete with him when he was around. Everyone thinks being good looking and talented is always great but it's not if your own friends resent you for it.

Ok I'll be honest Adam is still my favorite, but u can look on Matt, and nice guy with an awesome voice I honestly wouldn't choose anyone else except matt to be Adams replacement, but yes Adam is still my favorite, just Adam had an awesome type of voice and singing, and also good backstory, sad to see the man go, but now that Matt is here I still like the guy, awesome voice, just to put u in the rock of three days grace along with the others guys doing the music, just also fits in just like how Adams did, but we love and miss Adam and we love and welcome matt along these years of an awesome journey of three days grace, all creds to both Adam and Matt bringing us both awesome rock music and a good time

It seems that Neil is the center of the whole reason on why they split. At least that is what I think. There is a fairly recent interview where Adam says he is talking to Barry and Brad again, and that they are on good terms. But he doesn't mention Neil at all. Another example is the back of the saint asonia album. Adam says a big thanks to brad and barry for all they've done but doesn't mention Neil... I think he has a big part to do ith whatever happened.

The don’t write their own music anymore. They have other people that write lyrics for them. Adam always made sure the band wrote all the songs.
No I think they come from a similar place with writing actually I know they do but the issue with Adam and Neil is still probably personal. Some say Neil wants to be the singer but I don't think that is the problem. I dated a drummer off and on in my 20s and he was tall and nice looking like Adam and girls would stare at him everywhere we went I knew he was a drummer but the girls didn't. Adam was hot Neil was probably jealous. That's why he says about Matt being younger and better trying to say Adam was old and worn out something. It's rude I think no way to treat a "friend" anyway.

Yeah Adams new band was very weak on song writing and Adams vocals patterns were weak, guess we know three days grace was making the magic, the new songs ok but the new singer is short of Adam. World Class singers, unless they right their own hooks vocally like Chad from Hell Yeah....without a band telling them how to sing what....it can come out sub par....perfect example is Sevendust....Witherspoon is an amazing singer but losing Clint Lowrey hurt songwriting and vocals writing substantially. Now that he's back...major improvement.

Yeah I think what bothered me the most was seeing comments saying Adam had no right to play his own songs after going solo. Also he was having problems at home when he left the group since he divorced soon after too so people kicking him when he was down is just unacceptable imo.

My main gripe with the album Human was how uninspired the whole thing was. Catchy here and there but nothing relatable really. It sucked. And it's sad cause I did love Three Days Grace. But oh well.

Yes really and actually I'm a total dude black guy even believe it . And and know it's not about being a fangirl witch I'm not It's just I've been with 3DG since the beginning have all there albums - human cause it sucked just to be honest. I've had as many ups and downs as anybody else and three day was there they where that kind of band that really spoke to you in the hard times when you where really down and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way. You know how are parents talk about the bands they listen to and there's usually that one that they always talk about more that's how Three Days Grace was to me my favorite band and Adam was the front man the face the voice and the voice is where the heart and soul is. Adam has a special kind of voice though a voice that can't just be replaced so easily. That's why Three Day sucks now I've never liked My Darkest Days don't own a single album. But you must have a hard on for Neil because you sound just like him because he was the one preaching that a band is not just about one person. But look who's soaking up the line light now that Adams gone look who's talking for the band now and look who's posting all the pictures Neil. Neil is not sad Adams gone he just talked about how Adam was so easy to replace. Whatever went down the issue was with Neil and Adam it was probably because Neil wanted to write all the songs for the band. Adam expressed that he didn't like the direction the band's music was headed he even said on transit only one or two songs came from his heart. Do to so much that was implied I believe Adam was being strond armed by a band his face and voice made famous and he left because he didn't want to be Neils puppet. Further evidence to support that theory is in the Saint Asonia pamphlet in Adams thank you he thanks Barry and Brad but he does not thank Neil which tells me there is beef between those two. Another thing I don't like Neil he looks and talks cocky to me and if the human album is a result of his writing his writing sucks because I don't like human and transit wasn't my favorite album either there was a few songs I liked on there. But with human I honestly tried to give Three Days Grace a chance without Adam but Machine sucked hardcore and I can't stand Mats voice. I just tell it like it is I'm not one of the people who is gonna stick with a band just because the names the same you got to sound just as good or better and 3DG doesn't with Mat. You can't just replace Adam with any voice the fact that you think that shows me how much Three Days Grace's actual music means to you your just a band fan it probably wouldn't matter if the band replaced all of it's members with women and started doing country as long as the name stay the same you probably wouldn't complain. If you haven't listened to the whole Saint Asonia album you don't know what you're missing. 3DG lost their soul when Adam left But it's still alive and burning bright with Saint Asonia. I may eat these words but I think the popularity will eventually drop off 3DG now that Adam is with Saint Asonia because true 3DG fans know that Adam was the soul of the band and the feeling you get when you listen to Saint Asonia its like this is what 3DG was suppose to be and it's just mind blowing. And Adam has that way truly making you feel what he's singing. Matt is just a puppet in 3DG who pretty much sings what is written for him right now so there is know way his heart is in it. I think Three Days Grace SUCKS now since Adam left. I like My darkest days but the singer can NEVER replace Adam ever. Change the name of the band because when think of Three Days Grace music I think and hear Adam not the My Darkest Day singer. Just do away with Three days graceand rename the band to something else.
