Thanks for the tips! When lubing the chain, how do you recommend dealing with excess lube (typically along the sides of the chain)? Wipe it off immediately or leave overnight and then clean?
Don't wipe immediately, spin the chain for at least 30 times covering all gears, and then wipe it off. Reapeat twice.

Which lube to use for chains? I went on Amazon and was greeted with a variety of those for different prices. Also suggest me some good suspension lubes as I recently got an Sr suntour xcm 30 and don't want it to get damaged.

Use WD40 and spray nicely. Keep it for 1 to 2 hrs then remove all rust, repeat if necessary

Keep a separate chain for rain and non-rainy season. The rainy season chain will need to be removed after every use, cleaned and kept in oil container.
