Girl, your dollar tree is so big, clean, and orderly. Mine almost always look like a hurricane went through there. Plus those aisles are so nice and wide. Lucky!!
They're all pretty new so maybe that's why they're on the nicer side! I am lucky

My theory is these dollar tree $1 books were probably on clearance at B & N or BAM and were not selling so DT buys their supply at a drastically discounted rate and resells for $1. Kinda blows my mind that at regular price some of these books were $15 - $25.

that would explain why some of her books were a little damaged. people wouldn’t buy it at full price because of the scratches or torn pages
i looked it up because i was very curious myself and according to google youre right, also from the publishers. the reason can be because of overstock, the book is no longer in production, etc.
Yes, this is correct, I’ve seen Target books there too with “Target exclusive” stickers on them.
I love Dollar tree books, whatever I don’t read, I donate to a little free library in my neighborhood, and sometime I just go there to get books to donate to the little free library, but they’re pretty good books❤

I also like to donate the books I didnt really vibe with, but i absolutely love donating books that I DID love and would want people to alos read and experience the story. I don't want to give someone a bad book😭

I’ve gotten some of the best books of my life at Dollar Tree. I also became friends with authors whose books I found there. The authors all went on to send me signed and foreign editions of their books! The special editions I have that are so rare because of these friendships are wild. I now have read all of their books purchased traditionally and let me just say I love all of their works ♥️ I never skip a dollar tree books lol

Annoyingly is been $1.25 for a few years now. Also, my go to as a kid was anything Judy Bloom. I loved her books.

Dollar tree gets overstock copies of books. You can tell by the little black dot on the side since they're marked not for sale. Very similar to how Book Outlet gets books. I assume it's just a big bookstore like Barnes and Noble or CostCo selling them in bulk. I also got a copy of a Judy Blume book recently!

A good number of the books that come from Dollar Tree don't have any markings on them. l wounder where those came from?
@@Ron2600_ it's possible they come from a place that doesn't require them to be marked. my guess is that formal bookstores require markings whereas maybe stores like walmart dont? could be the other way around though!

As long as you avoid the "dollar tree plus" sections, everything else is $1.25. the little strips on the edges of the shelves are different colored to help you differentiate

it's so good! I also found my copy at dollar tree, though mine is hardback, and it was great! there's a second to it, it's a duology (I haven't finished the video yet, she might have mentioned that) and I haven't read it yet but I highly recommend it

Judy Blume was my favorite author as a kid until I found Goosebumps. My mother has a picture of me at like 6 or 7, having fallen asleep reading her book Freckle Juice, which I've now seen my son do with Little Golden Books.

I remember last time I went to some dollar store, I came across some books that interested me but I didn't grab, kind of regret it though even though both weren't the firsts in their series. One was about twins whose aunt sends them off to vacation spots that turn out to be more than normal (the one I found was Vampire Vacation), and the other was the second/last book in a duology called Fractured Fables about a girl who has an illness that usually ends anyone just before they hit 21, her friend tries to give her one last adventure for her 21st birthday, and she ends up (I think) dimension hopping through fairytales? And it's a sapphic story as well.
Sometimes there's hidden gems in the cheap. But some, like me, leave the gems behind and regret it later 😭
Thrift shops are also a great place to get a few good books for cheap, I've even found signed copies before. Library book sales, too.

I read Are You There God, It’s Me Margaret probably a dozen times in middle school in the 70s. One of my favorite books. I’ve not seen the movie.

You always think about the dg books be the roadtrip books to buy when getting snacks for the trip and that what I think dg books are for me because they very popular during summers and holidays travels not every day thing

alot of businesses including dollar store do something called a lfrc which stands for loss for returning customers for example : xbox loses alot of money on there consoles knowing u will come back to buy games which will make them even more money. dollar tree does this knowing most people are not only there for books but its something people usually buy when they are going there anyway.

I am a teacher and loved being able to pick up a handfullnof Judy Blume books for my class library. I actually was able to pick up several sets. I wish I could find that Stagcoaches and Shotguns book. I teach history history, and that also needs to be in my library. I find books all the time at Dollar Tree that are really good, and I have even found a few by some of my favorite authors. Rare but it happens.

Half of my books are from dollar tree😭my mom works there so I kinda get first picks when they set them out, I really recommend reading “closer to nowhere” by Ellen Hopkins, “the favor” by Nora Murphy, “the secret talker” by geling yan “hurricane summer” by asha Bloomfield, and they always have a bunch of ever after high books there to!!

You have the Beverly Hills version of Dollar Tree. Ive literally never seen a Dollar Tree that nice much less three! There were some great titles, best selling authors. Nice!
