  • Here is my shortbread biscuits that I am baking for my great Niece and great Nephew, although at this rate, by the time they get here they'll be all gone!
    Ingredients:
    300 grams plain flour
    200 grams Anchor butter / margarine
    100 grams caster sugar
    Add all the ingredients to a food processor or mixing bowl and mix until you get a crumbly texture then squeeze together.
    Roll out pastry and shape the biscuits to your preferred shape,
    Place biscuits onto a baking tray and bake in a pre heated oven at 170 electric, 150 fan, gas mark 3 for 20 - 30 minutes depending on thickness of biscuits, just keep your eye on them, leave to cool, see if you can avoid the temptation of eating them warm.
