Thank you so much for these videos. You deserve much more recognition than these other youtubers who do not go into as much detail as you do! I will be binge watching your whole AIC playlist!
Thank you so much for such lovely words - I'm glad the detail is appreciated! Please do share my playlist with anyone you think might find it useful! :)
I am going through your whole playlist and I want to thank you! This is really helping me for my upcoming gcse as I’m not very good at English unfortunately 😭
I love all of your videos. Seriously, you're a life-saver!!!! I just got 32/34 on an AIC assessment and I just watched one of these videos the night before!! THANKSSSSS
Hello! I don't think it's right for me to fully grade your response, as that takes quite a bit of time for me to do it, and if I grade your response, it would only be fair for me to grade everyone else's responses, which I'm simply unable to do from a workload perspective. Also, because you didn't specify the exam board you're on, I wouldn't be able to be accurate anyway! What I will say is that you have some very deep and perceptive comments at times (particularly in your paragraphs that are focused on a single idea), especially those that start to bring in some of those contextual ideas. There are points where you're retelling the story more than you are analysing it, though, and some more specific language analysis would be helpful. Finally (and I'm sure this is just because you're typing s YT comment rather than anything else), there's some inconsistency with how you're spelling Priestley's name, etc, which would hold you back if SPaG is factored into the mark scheme for this question on the exam board you're working on. Cheers!
I love the voice you use to imitate the character - it really says something about how they speak. Also well done for getting over 500 subs. Well, a LOT over 500!!
I'm glad you appreciate my limited dramatic skills! 😂 And blimey, 500 subs seems like a lifetime ago... Still appreciative of each and every one, though!
hi sir, im pretty late to your videos, but just wanted to let you know how helpful your videos are. my English lit exam is tomorrow, and you're really saving me here! you go into much more detail than a lot of other channels, and give quite unique and useful points. thank you for all your work!

Hello, As someone who finds your videos incredibly insightful and helpful for my studies, I have a quick question to ask. Will you be doing Jekyll and Hyde any time soon? Jekyll and Hyde is one of the more difficult texts (in my opinion) we have to study and I was wondering if you will be doing soon or if you have any recommendations of channels/sources that would aid me in my studies. If you did J+H it would be incredibly helpful as I have found this series and the poetry series the only excellent resources on the texts I could find.
Hi Ben - thanks so much for your incredibly complimentary comment! I'll be uploading a channel update video over the next couple of days, in which I'll be discussing my plans for the channel in the build up to this year's exams. Please keep your eyes peeled! 😊
Just wondering this is amazing thanks, but would you ever consider doing Jekyll and Hyde as I've got to do this Romeo and Juliet and Jekyll and Hyde it will help loads, and I'm sure other people.
Hey Ben, thanks for your comment (and the other two - I'll be sure to reply to them in a moment)! J+H is definitely something I'd consider for the future, yep, but it probably isn't something I'd be able to cover this school year. I've been doing a lot of R+J planning recently, and reckon it's going to take me until the end of the school year to get it fully covered. But at least I've got your back for R+J and AIC! 😊

I'm pretty sure that for the 7th quote he's trying to bribe the inspector, not reminiscing about how much he paid eva
Could you please be more specific to the points?? Perhaps bullet pointing your ideas. Thank you though for the video!
Could you use these to start an essay
Yep, you can definitely use the ideas I've discussed in this video to help you write your essays!
Got a grade 9 for this
👏👏👏 Absolutely brilliant - well done to you! 👊 You must be pleased?
