My 2nd wife’s father used to do this very deed back in the 50’s & 60’s. Set up the grounds, housing and all that comes with it, for a large scale mine. Spent most of his time in a bulldozer. New Mexico and other states. He passed on long before I met his daughter, his last name was Schmidt.

You need to dowse for gold inside the mine and on the surface above the mine for precisely deciphering what the old timers were mining with defining the ore bodies within the mine and the surface above the mine. Big difference between the dowsing rod and electronic metal detector is the dowsing rod with one-tenth ounce of 9999 fine gold being attached to the dowsing rod will only be energized by gold, while the electronic metal detector will be energized by precious and base metals, which amounts to guessing. It is better to know for sure instead of continually guessing. Knowing for sure is always better than guessing with taking out the going bust worries.

If you ever need somebody to help test spots 4 Gold content and run a small operation daily on any claim,. I have a good geology background & I have a nice set-up that can run quite a bit of material daily hard rock or alluvial free mill. I'm planning on heading out to Utah/Nevada/Arizona during the fall & starting a testing service. I have a sluice a trommeI, a highbanker, and a dry washer, a fine gold recovery miller table all set up on a trailer, I'm a diesel mechanic that works on ships. I plan on buying and restoring some digging equipment myself when I get there again. I prospected all through the Uinta mountains when I was younger. And spend a lot of time in Arizona all over chasing AU. There is gold everywhere if you know where to look. Keep up the great videos!

Most gold in Nevada is microscopic and needs a lot of processing. Mountains of earth here are moved to produce millions of ounces a year in the Carlin trend. Over 100 million ounces of gold has been mined since the 1960s. Not really feasible to do on the small scale like this.
