$210 is still high in theory, but for the amount of engineering that is has including motorized functions, and the sheer size of it, I think it's very reasonable in today's market. Awesome set no doubt and hopefully I can get one eventually.
The last time I remember them doing this was the heavy haul copter, one of my most loved Technic sets, but this one is on a whole new level of sophistication.
Sensationally implemented for Lego standards. The main rotor blade adjustment with the cyclic inputs and the mechanical collective mixer: very well done 👍 A few years ago I also developed a helicopter with all control functions - but also built in the collective tail rotor adjustment. I find that my version works a bit more elegantly since the whole system doesn't wobble that much. I would be happy if you take a look at the video! Simply enter "Lego Technic Lama Helicopter".
will check it out, would you know if the phase leg correction for compensating for gyroscopic precession is correctly implemented in this set? It looks right to me, at about 36 degree lead but I am no expert.
This set looked impressive, and I didn't realize until I watched this video that there are motorized functions. They make the set awesome. The winch, and the rotors which can be controlled from the cockpit are really cool. The fact that even the landing gears are motorized is really cool. Also its cool that you can slide open the top to see how it works. I hope lego partnering with Airbus means there will be a lego airbus airplane in the future
@@discovdr 😅 it actually happened, the concrde set is amazing Lego already has the Boeing license, it would be awesome if there was a new Boeing Lego set
@@discovdr Lego has denied some Lego ideas projects and made it themselves, for example the creator astronaut which was first made by Legotruman on Lego ideas It would be great to see a modern updated version of the dreamliner or a 747
The price is a follow of the war we have here in Europe. Maybe it is just the beginning of more increasing… Oil, Gas, electricity…. Good review. Thank you. In the 1977 when I,got my first lego technic chopper 954, it has the same technic function in it. I love it.
just finished building the Heavy duty tow truck set and looking forward to get this set for my next project. I'd say it is worth the 210 dollars. I have seen pretty good reviews about this set.
I bought it for 150€ roughly 150$. Very happy with it. I do however feel that the airbus licence is redundant. They could've gotten away with out one. It doesn't really look like an airbus. Plus the price could've been lower
Can you please tell me why my functions not working I built it once and didn’t work so took it all down again built it again and still didn’t work please can you tell me why
Thank you for great review Alex, now you need a huge Oil platform for it. Looks like a fun build 210 price point cracks me up, with there profits during the Pandemic alone but what can you do?
Yes, but it is still pretty new. My official announcement has not happened yet, but people such as yourself are figuring it out ahead of time with these reviews.

I got it for 170 euros

Sweet review. Worth the price just for that proper swash-plate (finally)! This is going to be a classic!

Very interesting technic with the rotors and controlers. And WOW that thing is bigger then I thought 😃
This is an awesome set! Glad consumers can buy a technic helicopter after the osprey was pulled.

@@BrickHQ but i dont know if lego wants to do that because at some point there was actually a lego ideas post for a 737 but lego denied it.

Can’t wait to build this. Will be my first motorized Lego. Excited to see all the moving parts .
Airbus so cool

This helicopter is so good, it throws the material handler under the airbus
material handler should be half the price lol
hahaha
Awesome! Airbus looks great! thanks for the review!
May I say, I love the Top Dad shirt 🙌🔥
Thanks, my wife gave it to me on Father's day.
Great job with the review.😊👍
Wooooow awesome 🤩🚁🇩🇰🇩🇰
like it, but have no more room on the shelf. Could I hang it on the ceiling somehow?
I just ordered it. I'm ecstatic.
You're gonna love it!
@@alexnunes As a lifelong Technic fan, I'm sure I will!
so close to 100K!!!
Crazy. I wonder if we'll hit it this month.
Everyone get this guy to 100k subs!!!
How do you put the back wheels down? Mine seems to be stuck up.
It might be a small issue with the suspension element. I think it was getting caught. It has to be just right for it to operate correctly.
@@alexnunes having the same exact problem. Would love to know what you mean by suspension element? :)

Is the clicking normal once the wheels have gone up and down? Stumped me on mine and just noticed you have the same
In Europe, it can be found for about 189 EUR...I am curios to see this AIRBUS /Lego cooperation after the issue with V 22 Osprey/Boeing -LEGO
Very well d

Did I miss you becoming a LAN member
No, I just haven't officially announced it to the community yet.
I found it at Costco for 169.99. The price was too good to pass up
Are you getting these sets as a LAN Ambassador? 🤔

I got mine of Facebook marketplace for 150 dollars
